It's not a serious ****ing fight. Don't try and big Chagaev up there is no point, it will be a really easy fight. Chagaev has nothing left whatsoever. He's flatfooted and immobile, and is strictly a counterpuncher. How's that going to work against someone twice as fast as him? He's also not very imposing, not a big puncher, so theres that chance out the window. Illness ended Chagaev's career long ago.

This will look like Ruiz all over again but he won't be as aggressive as Ruiz.

Hepatitis B which he contracted in 2007. Hence why he has fought 6 times in 4 years.

Chagaev is **** now, as well as boring. He was vaguely decent a while back.

He's also had eye problems, or at least that was bandied around when he started getting very inactive. Detached retina stuff.

Blimey, a fighter who Haye is almost as active as.

Chag is the madatory so Haye has no choice. He is a probably shot but Ruiz gave Haye problems so maybe Chag can as well. Not an exciting fight, not even as good as Wlad Chisora.

They'll bill it as the meeting of the two giant killers - only two men to have defeated Valuev.

That's the only angle I can see. And Haye will want to stop him quicker than Wlad did.

Chag was already past it when he fought Wlad but now he is even worse.

In fairness who else is there? Outside of the Klit's only Adamek to me seems a decent fight. It's a pity we're not a few years on and a few wins down the line for Tyson Fury, David Price and Dereck Chisora, then they might be serious matches.

Arreola, Tua, Holyfied, Chag are all no match for Haye and pointless fights, if I was Haye I'd take the Chagaev fight just to get it out of the way. I dunno, to be honest I want to care but I just don't get in with Wlad or Vitali or I don't care. It brings me down as much as Mayweather and Pacquiao which looks like it'll never happen now.

If the Klits are off than the only half decent opponent, in terms of excitement, is Adamek. Both ex Cruiser WCs so there is angle etc

IMO this fights means nothing but title retention. beating chag won't top beating valuev. it will top beating ruiz, but it won't top beating mormeck/macca.

it's a mandatory, it is what it is.
