Haye Vs Chisora 2

I think both are not what they were.
Haye seems to be troubled by very bad injuries and I think Chisora has been matched tough so many times that I think it may have taken its toll on him.

I would favour this current version of Chisora to win as I am not sure that Hayes injuries would hold up and think may come back again to haunt him
Chisora inside schedule anywhere from mid rounds on I think

 

All Haye has to do is release a training video on instagram with him on the bag, then using the stepper, jumping up and down to show that his leg doesn't pop out and hitting pads before looking to the camera to deliver his con artist car salesman speech to his fans.

Haye's punch resistance, power, movement, health.. all gone.. Derek would finish him quickly now.. Within 2.

Haye shouldn't ever fight again!

He shouldn't get a boxing license now even if he wanted to imo...

Dave is broken, he can't be fixed to become a fighter again now, no matter how much he might want to...

haye needs to retire he has nothing at all left and I know eddie hearn has no morals but I would hope chisora does because what will it really do for his career beating a corps of the fighter that knocked him out lol

 

Spot on with the way he would sell it to the few, but I would have chisora to stop him though.
It should not happen if you ask me, I like delboy but even I would not like to see him ko Haye and possibly inflict permanent damage on the guy, haye has made a few quid and he should just take it and walk away from the fighting side of the game now.

 

If he fights anyone he will lose, let alone chisora.

 

I'f be the first to admit I got totally conned by him...

The guy can't thrown power shots, either gasses after 2 round or doesn't have the mentality to stick with it. Not to mention his punch resistance..

Imagine if that was a big strong heavy like Wilder or AJ, Imagine Fury... Haye wouldn't get to see his kids after that..

Hopefully retires..

 

His achilles accounts for most of that to be fair. Without being able to put all the weight on that back foot then you cannot generate any where near the same power, you also cannot absorb the same shots either as in theory he kinda had one foot in the air at all times, that effects you massively when taking a shot.

 

No doubt it was still a big issue along with the other injuries but we were all conned buy the "I'm turning the clock back lines!"

He can still talk a great game..

 

not me, I had Bellew by KO. The Achilles injury is a very very serious and complex injury that takes years to fully get back to 100%, couple that with what Haye said about 3/4 years ago that his shoulder will never be right again and he will never be able to throw the over hand right the same way again and was his fave punch.

I watched it more for the pantomime and for my bet.

 

Not really I had a 20 quid acca with Cox, Ward and Bellew !! lol would have got that at 8/1. But that was obv a disaster !! I then stuck a tenner on Bellew to win by KO during the fight @ 10/3 so ended up just 3 quid up overall !!

Not a massive gambler at all, seen too many mates destroy their lives with it bud

 

What can you do. The moneys on the table... your injured and in the last chance saloon. He took the gamble in the end but its finished his career for good now. He kind of had to take the gamble. Actually quite sad to see a boxer like haye as desperate as he is. He can't walk away from the acclaim he once had and apparently looks skint and desperate. Hayes made mistakes in his career/life...not a well liked man in the game by the looks of it. Some probably partly jealousy other down to the mans own arrogance.

Regardless of it all tho...its yet another reminder of how horrible the game can be. A man thats had the career of haye...putting everything into it for twenty years...taking the punches...all the gym work...putting your body through the wringer day in day out doesn't deserve to be in the position he's in now. Makes you wonder how and who takes your money...he can't have enjoyed that on Saturday night and yet immediately after he's angling for more fights. I reckon someone behind the scenes will be forcing him to fight on. Its like Tyson...banked hundreds of millions and yet...somehow ended up two hundred million in debt. They take your money...put you in a position of debt then force you to fight on till theres nothing left. He's had a fortunate career tbh...still a bit sad to see anyone in that predicament tho...especially when they,ve worked so hard for it over the years. A massive part of that is his own fault...regardless tho still quite a sad sight. All these bad investments hes made etc...I m pretty sure haye isn,t sitting at the boardroom saying I think we should invest in this. Leaves the question...who,s made these decisions.

Because I m pretty sure if you,d just banked probably about 8 million over the two fights...after that second fight...most normal people would be like that's the end of the line...set for life with the 8 million or so. Instead there always appears a desperation for more...even when they can make a good bit extra doing other things. Its like someones forcing them into doing it. Could be wrong...maybe he is just that egotistical.

 

In no way is this beneficial for the course of this thread but if you would all just kindly allow me this....
