They swing and miss with a lot of hard looking shots for 5 rounds and occasionally land some soft pitter patter until "The Toe" yells "NOW. Then both head off to the bookie.

I think the question is.. Can Chisora take Hayes power, if he can which I believe he can then he will work haye from the first round slow him down and stop him late, I dont rate Haye as a boxer, but hes a gifted athlete with speed and power, most of the time if he wins its because his opponent cant take the power, nothing to do with any ring IQ he has, so if Chisora takes Hayes big right hand alright, then he will win this fight, because Haye simply has no inside game and thats where Dereck will make the fight unless hayes power keeps him at bay.

Stop drinking the ****ing Koolaid. Chisora is just in too deep. Haye has way too much speed and power and will avoid any resemblance of contact as he shuts out Chisora in the first 4 rounds comfortably. They will split the remainder of the Rounds with Haye landing the much cleaner and harder punches.

He may stop Chisora on accumulation late in the fight. Derek can take a good punch, but he will take some serious bombs that he just won't be able to get from in front of. He has such little power, that by the time he begins to catch up to Haye in the latter rounds, it won't be anything really meaningful.

10 rounds is a definite advantage to Haye. He is 37 pounds lighter than Chisora and will be relying heavily on having faster hands and feet. He's got good power, but I believe it to be slightly overrated at HW. If he doesn't take Chisora out early, I doubt he'll get it done late because his quickness will slowly fade as the fight wears on. His key to victory is not getting pushed to the ropes - I believe Chisora can do a better job on him there than Wladimir did due to them being similar size. Chisora, on the contrary, needs to get inside and get work done there. I think it's a close fight and could go either way.

Close fight dependant on a few things.

    1. Chisora's conditioning and ability to take a few to get inside.
I believe he can take Haye's power, which I think is lacking at HW. Won't know Chisora's conditioning till the fight.

    2. Haye's attitude; will he run or fight?
If he fights, Chisora wins by KO. I don't think Haye will though and I don't know that Chisora has the ability to cut Haye off early and often enough to wear him down to make him stand still.

    3. Judges
If it goes the distance, Chisora might well do enough to get the decision but will home town hero get the favour?

I'm putting money on Chisora, purely for the decent odds and equally decent chance of an upset. It is a close call, but I think Chisora gets the win via KO.
