I think people to often compare the brothers, Vitali is older and his legs and mobility is totally different and his mindset as well. Wladimir is at peak of power and is different in way picks his opponents apart. Vitali is a lot slower and more easier to hit then Wladimir IMO. I can say Chisora gave a better and more spirited showing but he fought the brother i think is coming to end and was easier of two to beat IMO.
It would be an entertaining fight. Haye gets criticised for not going kamikaze against a much better fighter. Say Wlad is one level above Haye, he's about three levels above Dereck. Haye lost to Wlad because the bigger man controlled the distance. He didn't land much and couldn't make much of an impression, but he controlled the whole thing because Haye could get position, but couldn't get his shots off. The major issue was those silly wide hooks - if Haye had straightened his punches he could have done better. Haye wouldn't have any of those issues against Chisora. Yes, he's difficult for a jabbing fighter like Helenius, but Haye doesn't rely on his jab. Body work, his left hook, the right straight that's he's good at timing as his opponent's head moves. There aren't many ways for Chisora to win this really. But I admire your loyalty to the cause. Even if he's one of the most reprehensible fighters around right now.
I'm not sure many criticise Haye for not going suicidal against Wlad. But what pissed a lot of people off was the talk never matched the performance. I don't really think he gave it a real go in there, whereas Chisora backs up his **** by coming to fight. I'll hold my hands up and admit I enjoyed the slap at the weigh in, as well as the fight at the presser last night as it drummed up a huge amount of hype for both fights and for boxing in general. I wasn't a fan of the spitting which was a scum move, but I enjoyed him going face to face with Wlad as it just proves Chisora doesn't give a flying **** about anyone. Wether people like it or not, boxing is a macho sport, and this **** will always happen. I totally understand why people don't like him tho, as he gets on a lot of people's tits with his antics. As for the fight, I really don't no. But I'm standing by Chisora here. His last two performances have been better than Haye's last two without a doubt. As someone said previously, this spit might bring out 'Cruiserweight' Haye. But I am yet to w convinced by the heavyweight version if I'm honest. He doesn't throw as much, doesn't hit as hard (which is understandable), and doesn't fancy his chin too much. But these lads are the same height which may favour Haye. But I still think he will be able to work up close, possibly outwork David. He may also land one of those wild swings. Very intriguing fight. More so now than last week
Haye with a mid to late stoppage IMO. Haye will land more spitefully and with more bang imo than Vitali and his speed will defo help. Chisora may cause slight trouble early on with the bobbing and weaving but Haye will find his rhythm and lamd some decent combos to wear him down.
Haye is fitter and hits harder, Chisora can take a shot but doesnt have the power to be a world class level operator, he had a go against Vitali but never looked like winning, Haye would be to fast for Chisora and stop him late.
Chisora would make a fight of it. The longer it went, the better chance I would give Del boy. If I had a gun to my head I would say Haye in 8.
