So that basically means there is absolutely NO INTEREST whatsoever by TV stations. They probably don't trust him for good reason. This is pretty pathetic, even by Haye's low standards.

Fact is, Haye could still be a player in the post K2 era.

Even if Wlad should regain his titles with a win over Fury, which in my opinion, he will, those titles will start getting yanked away as shown by the IBF that the sanctioning bodies don't want them hoarded by a single champion, but would rather, for financial effect, scatter them across the globe to create the illusion of a NEW GOLDEN ERA where the many titlists are all considered greats for having 2-3 fights vs one another without ever having to fight a dozen or so legit contenders to call themselves greats.

I could see Wlad beating Fury then being ducked by the Martin Glaskov winner and then also by the Potvetkin Wilder winner, essentially forcing him to defend against the Chagaev/Browne winner and in the process, being stripped by the WBO for not fighting Fury in a trilogy.

Just my 2 cents.

Haye will get the IBF title from Martin Glaskov, and then find a way to get a fight with Potvetkin or Wilder, both of which would be 50/50 fights if Haye is even @85% of the fighter he was 2 yrs ago.:thumbsup

Free, and the more hits, the more ad revenue and IMO, this fight will generate no less than 5 million views worldwide, increasing Haye and Demori's purse and if Demori even makes a fight of it, like Kaufman did v Arreola, his own stock will rise and he might just get a title shot out of it from Browne should he beat Chagaev. :think

 

He made something like $15 million on that one fight, according to Forbes.

It's hard to feel sorry for Haye when he made that amount of money from one night's work, and subsequently blew it all.
