I could see it either but really the only comparison so far may be made with Bonin. Haye was perfectly using his timing to counter Bonin and put him down a few times. But Bonin is much shorter and even slower than Golota with probably worse chin and defense. So I see Haye landing on Golota, no doubt about that but the shots may not be as much effective as in Bonin case. This mean as the fight progreess, Haye shots will not be stronger and Haye will be countered as well by skilled and strong Golota.

So the second comparison may be made with Brewster, who tagged Golota earlly with great hooks. The important thing is Golota was not ready for such onslaught and Brester was really agressive ... even that Golota was always up and ready to go. Haye isn't the type of fighter who may setup such assault, and his countered shots are no stronger than Brewster's aggressive hooks.

Is this an actual fight that is being put together, or another mere what if waste of time?

Clearly a "what if" waste of time. Can't find any half decent website even mentioning it.

Exactly, same **** like "what if Cotto-Mayweather" ... no decent site is going to mention that fight in reality for the next decade.

2 fights at heavyweight for Haye and both against Polish fighters?

Anybody notice that? Anyway, if Golota doesn't freeze early he can make it a very uncomfortable night for Haye. Even this version of Golota. Haye's handlers need to be careful who they put him in the ring with. Personally, I'd have him fight a couple gatekeeper-types. I would have said Monte Barrett but he's no measuring stick anymore. Maybe an Owen Beck or a Brian Minto. Maybe even Sinan Samil Sam to get some rounds in. Anybody can outbox that guy.

Shame that Cunningam's a married man. Ever seen some of the women from Poland?

lol nah I'm just saying that I wouldn't mind having a few Polish chicks. Not only are they hot but from what I hear they make good wives. Anyway, that's lounge stuff.
