I covered the Martinez vs. Burns fight on Saturday and the press conference for Haye and Harrison is tomorrow, according to various media sources. 100% Sorry if this has been posted. I've been busy and off the scene.
I've actually did a complete 180 on this fight. I was repulsed by it initially because Haye should be in with a Klitschko, however, lets face it, this is gonna be fun. The fight will make millions as a PPV attraction, and as hard as it is to believe, boost Haye's popularity within the UK. If you didn't already know it, sports fans in Britain are stupid, and will probably equate this to a domestic Ali vs. Frazier.
You might miss David gettin knocked out !!! I couldn't live with myself if I missed it a second time. :bart
Anyone who thinks this ain't gonna be a fun fight need their heads examined! The build up alone will be HILARIOUS!! I can picture it now. Sure the casual fan gonna go crazy, but for one night put all the **** aside and just enjoy the spectacle whatever that may be. I see a KO in this one. Most likely from the Hayemaker, but Audley has a bit of a dig, could get lucky! Just sit back and enjoy this one! World heavyweight title fight with 2 brits right here in the UK!!! come on people!! give this one a chance. Audley for all his nosensical career has talked himself up as a title contender, he could be one punch away from doing what no one thought could ever be possible!
C'mon; you have to admit that it would be pretty funny if Haye got sparked -- and it's not entirely impossible, either. The whole world at his feet ... and he gets taken down by Fraudley in what was supposed to be a no-risk money-maker. I'd be laughing for a year.
Dont worry. Haye team has been considering for 5 months to fight or not to fight Audley, so there was a lot of time to debate. I think that they finally have made all the calculations, and that fight doesnt have too much risk in it :yep
