Perfect for Haye since he fights old heavyweights

****. Everyday is a different opponent mentioned. If he plans to fight Rahman, he might as well retire right now, because that's a worthless fight.

Makes a fair bit of sense, and some of my fellow country men would buy it thinking Rahman was still half decent...problem is he can still punch hard enough to take Haye out if he lands one...

    That would never happen.

    Round 1 knockout.

Gotta agree, though it will be sold on sky as "The man who needed one punch to lay Lennox Lewis out" with Glenn McCroy going "You never know when your facing a puncher what they have", Johnny Nelson will back him up "The punch is the last thing to go". A punch is only any good when you can throw the bloody thing and land it....

PLEASE DON"T LET THIS HAPPEN! I'm so tired of Rahman. I"m so sick of him putting together a couple of meaningless wins and then getting a shot, and getting his ass kicked in the process. It's been nearly 10 years since Rahman beat Lewis....the guy has already gotten way too much mileage out of that victory. Rahman wouldn't have a prayer against Haye. This is the kind of fight that makes me wonder why I'm still a boxing fan.

You know those guys well that is exactly how they would sell that crap using those clichés.

I would rather see Johnny Nelson fight David Haye than Rahman, and I'm sure at one point it was planned.

It'd be amazing for Haye to be training for a mystery opponent then when it's time for them to come out, the camera's switch back to the box and Nelson just rips off his tux to reveal his boxing attire and makes his way to the ring. Viewing figures would be through the roof.

    **** yeah, Johnny Nelson.

Didn't Rahman look really bad in his last fight with Wlad?

He hasn't beaten anyone meaningful since, right?

So why does WBA have him at #5?

I think I'd rather see Mormeck or Tarver, though those fights aren't any more meaningful, really.

haye can't afford another joke fight after the audley fiasco, can he? even his fans would have to be disappointed in rahman as an opponent (or they should). rahman's done but if he's gonna get a meaningful fight really wish he'd beat someone half descent first
