This would have been acceptable around the time he fought Barret but he is world champion now and Rahman is not in the least bit acceptable.

Haye wouldn't have a choice in this, the WBA would name the mandatory opponent.

Still waiting on you to provide the source where Haye said 8-9 weeks was too little promotion time for the Wlad fight.

    I can wait........

That's exactly how it's going to go and without a mention of Rahman's Wlad and Toney fights.

Rahman's last four opponents after Wlad:

    22-17-0
    45-13-0
    16-4-0
    9-15-1

There was some talk about "Diarrhea Of The Mouth" Haye fighting Holyfield, but he could fight 62 year old Foreman, but too risky?!

Sure, this is a good move on hayes part, i mean wlad already softened him up. I mean audrey was already took alot out of hayes, an the stress of finding ways out of fighting wlad must be a mental toll for this gay lad. I just hope hayes dosn't keep pushing himself, i mean he is almost the big 31, it time to hang them up, i mean the last thing you want to do is be droped by a barrett (shot one)....Yea this will sell good in the UK, maybe a nice concert after wards. Maybe prince williams stops by an shags hayes mum, one last romp before his wedding.....

I hope it won't be true. Rahman did nothing to get a titleshot at Wlad, looked horrible in this fight and again did nothing since this time. Although I am afraid that it is exactly what makes him perfect opponent for Haye.

Ok I'd like to see a source.

Thanks nothing, Overhill isn't coming to your rescue, here's your exact quote:

You claimed it came straight from Hayes mouth so I'll ask again, source.:deal

Who cares? English fans will believe in any ****...I can imagine the press conference before that fight and David with words like "Hasim is really dangerous fighter, he knocked out Lennox..." etc...

Easy money so it's good fight for Haye.
Some months ago He told, that in London no one asked him about fight with Chagaev or Adamek so probably Chagaev isn't so popular to get some big $$$ from SkySports.

Originally on Los Angeles Times but here's pretty solid link too:

    http://www.boxingplanet.net/boxing-news/item/2215-haye-klitschko-apparently-going-separate-directions.html
    --
“That shows you how little they know about boxing,” Schaefer said. “What network would commit to do the pay per view with eight weeks of marketing? You can’t do a fight of that magnitude in eight weeks. It’s not possible.
    --

    Here's Dan Rafael's article:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=6007881

    --
Haye claimed that nine weeks between fights was not long enough to mount the promotion or to train. Klitschko disagreed, believing his fight with Chisora would serve as the de facto kickoff to the promotion.

Theyd sell it to the ****** public as david fighting a man so dangerous he once ko'd lewis...the public would "demand" this fight according to Haye
