Was it my imagination or did bunce say something about GBP wanting to get hopkins in with the winner of haye/wlad?

given the rematch clauses, such a fight wouldn't happen unless haye beat wlad twice and vitali once, by which time hopkins will be pushing 47 or so.

    how does this go?

Haye KO 1, but this fight is never going to happen

No, if Haye beats Wlad it'll be by KO and Wlad will pass up his rematch clause and Haye will go straight onto Vitali (assuming Vitali can get through a training camp) before the end of the year. Haye v Hopkins early next year. Bhop takes a fight at cruiser in the meantime.

    It won't happen though.

i doubt this fight will ever happen, mainly because I can't see him getting past all three klit fights. but do you really think haye knocks hopkins out in one round?

Haye would spark him he got too much power even though Hopkins is cute and ring savvy - sheer power can just overwhelm a better skilled fighter sometimes

Its boxing and the good old greenback will dictate what happens... $$$$$$

Although Hopkins will outprice himself... if he wants to fight for the Heavyweight crown he will have to concede some ground....:think:think

To dangerous for old man Hopkins, one more defeat and his legacy is tarnished, a la a Froch fight. Whats the point for either?!

No his legacy is firmly established. Even a losing challenge for the heavyweight crown would enhance it, imagine challenging for the heavyweight crown at his age after a look and prosperous career. If he won the heavyweight title he would without doubt go down as the GOAT.

He would embarrass Froch even if he was sixty.

I think the only fight left for him in Dawson.
