Hopkins says he would give Haye a 20lb advantage and fight him. I know Haye looked poor last time out but B-Hop would suffer some serious damage if Haye was to take his commentsto heart. At the same time I'd pay to watch that **** lol. Ps. The comments are over on the Scene.

The fight will never happen, B-Hop will only fight at HW for a belt

I don't think Haye looked poor, he just could not compete with such a big heavyweight. Haye would stop Hopkins. Hopkins can handpick guys like Pascal and Pavlik, but Haye is altogether a much better fighter than those guys. Hopkins would not be able to get away from Haye's right hand.

I agree that Hopkins isn't really interested in this fight. Haye has no title, nor the fan base to make the fight economically interesting to BHOP.
If the fight did happen, BHOP would dismantle Haye and win an easy UD.

Hayes a **** boxer, all he has is one punch & he's off balance every time he throws it...Hopkins would school him, with good defense & smart footwork, haye'll be able to walk through Hopkins punches but Hopkins will see haye's stupid haymaker from a mile away

    Haye would demolish him.
Sanctgioning bodies shouldnt allow this fight to happen if it was ever properly discussed.

if you look at the guys who beat Hopkins, they used speed and counterpunching to beat him. Haye could easily beat Hopkins and even stop him. Hopkins will not fight Haye. He might take on Vlad who he might think he could land and stop. Hopkins knows how to handpick. Let's see if he fights Chad Dawson.

Haye lacks the punch output of a Calzaghe or Taylor, as well as being far less skilled then either of the three.
A master boxer will beat a one punch trick puncher everytime.:yep

that power makes all the difference, and Haye is a good counterpuncher. Hopkins has fooled everyone with his handpicking. Someday this era of 2005-2011 will be known as the the age of handpicking and catchweights.

PPV is not a mystery now. They have PPV for anything. They still have the event, and people still buy the Hopkins PPVs and fights. He handpicks. Pascal was not a handpick? That was a fight the people demanded?

    What fight did people demand?

    Dawson?

You're telling me Dawson is a bigger draw than Pascal? Dawson couldn't draw flies to ****.

Pascal filled up an entire stadium, TWICE.

Get the **** outta here with that handpicked ****.

Bernard is fighting Dawson THIS TIME, but that's because Bernard is a legitimate STAR and a draw on his OWN, especially in Canada. He's not fighting because people want to see Dawson, nor do I see the demand for Dawson being higher than the demand for Bute.

Dawson would have been a bigger draw than Pascal. Sure Pascal filled up an arena in his hometown. They knew this was the biggest fight in that area in many years with a legend like Hopkins fighting. You guys actually think Pascal was not a handpicked fight?
