That would have been a super athletic fight. Jones has never been in a lame fight and the build up would be nut busting.

Haye would put him (literally) in a smack induced coma with any shot he wanted to. We are talking about way bigger, stronger, faster (at hw) way superior fighter against a rjj that showed signs of a fragile chin, which turned out to be china.

Imagine him getting cranked much harder than the shot Tarver really ended his career with.

Can you guys think a little before throwing out this hypothetically re ****ed matches

If you ever stepped in a ring and sparred, phuck, axe that. . If you ever just played around with a bag, you'd know how badly a broken big TOE would affect your ability.

You can't do anything, can't throw anything but arm punches. That's so much worse than having a truly torn shoulder, broken hand or wrist.

You are up in your toes as much as possible. welcome to boxing, sh!t welcome to athletics 101

I would go with Haye by knockout... Roy would keep it interesting until it happened though. Roy was great, but I don't pick him over too many good HW fighters, due to size mostly... Haye has size and is skilled himself with great power..

Haye wins. RJJ not a real HW let's be honest. He can outbox the plodders but Haye has enough speed to land.

Well from what I understand it wasn't his Big Toe it was his pinky toe but for someone to be affected as you say he sure looks as nimble as a cat here ..Atheltics 101 here is commons sense 101 ..His lousy footwork cost him the fight not his pinky toe !

    :good

Still love how one of the lamest excuses of all time, which actually alienated most of his fans, is still brought up as if it were some legit excuse by some
That said, he would probably bounce RJJ of the canvas until the fight is stopped. But getting outboxed and outskilled inbetween the KD's

If he did indeed have a broken toe that how would it not effect his performance? He relies on movement and it would surely be a big hinderance. Its not as dramamtic as you nose hanging off but would really spoil your game if you rely on your feet so much.

Apart from the pull outs hes always shown himself to be a warrior in the ring. Even when he was getting bashed about by The cat he still stood.

    No toe no go!

Haye by savage KO. Jones has one of the worst Chins I have ever seen.

It was his little toe he claimed to have broken I thought he could have come up with a better excuse or just taken it on the chin and admitted the best man won. he just didn't have the size to compete with Wlad and his Wlads speed was much better than he expected

Haye beats RJJ at pretty much anytime crusier or above. Hes bigger, stronger with good hand speed and massive power. He would land on Roy eventually and then it night night

    I don't think so.

I think the early rounds would be very cagey. Lots of feinting, with little action.

Haye had a huge amount of respect for Roy, and copied his style. He's also showed signs of mental weakness.

Sure, if he'd have just jumped on Roy from the start with aggression, why not? But again, I don't think he'd have fought in that manner.

You'd obviously have to fancy Haye, but never that early for me. And I don't think that it's beyond the realms of possibility that Roy could have won a decision.
