Haye wins for me. Kimbo is over-rated and Haye is going to be the p4p champ of all fighting sports within 3 years.

A world title holding boxing heavyweight vs a street brawler?

    No idea who would win.

Not sure about Kimbo being over rated though.

Kimbo is a better grappler im sure but Haye seems like a really good athlete much more so then Kimbo IMO Haye could make serious improvement in maybe 6 months. Kimbo just has basic submission and wrestling knowledge and likes to stand so Haye has a chance. Of course Kimbo has a weak chin one of the weakest in MMA Haye could blow on him and KO him.

Haye by massacre...No matter boxing, street fight, or UFC match! I don't even like Haye for gods sake! That's just how much Kimbo sucks.
Kimbo CANNOT wrestle (we know this much) so Haye doesn't have to worry about any takedowns, he can box somewhat, but of course Haye is a much better boxer, Haye takes a better shot than Kimbo (even though I don't think his chin is all that). Haye lands one punch, and hurts Kimbo badly...

This would be one instance where Kimbo would be rushing to get this on the ground. Standing up he has no chance.

If they fight right now MMA im favoring Kimbo because he does have some basic grappling knowledge. However he plain and simple sucks and isnt athletic IMO give Haye 4 months maybe even 2 to work on just takedown defense alone he is 100 percent guaranteed to win by KO by just throwing a punch regardless of it landing clean or not.

Haye's power is silly. His jab would hurt and possibly ko Kimbo. Kimbo might go for the takedown. Unlike other moronic boxers Haye would know this is a possibility. Haye has the speed to catch him coming in before it even gets that far. Also, Haye has practiced in other martial arts but how much and how effective can it be.

    Anything could happen.

Haye has done some BJJ rolling so I would assume therefore he has rolled with better grappler's than Kimbo. Anyway give Haye a week to work on pure TD defence and he would beat Kimbo's ass.

One jab would rock Kimbo and he would be finished. Hell I would favour Haye to beat Kimbo's ass regardless.

^ Haye hasn't done serious training in grappling. Kimbo has some good training behind him now and should win quite easily.

Ferguson (Kimbo) would submitt Haye! He has enough quality mat time with top grapplers and coaches that a sizeable grappling advantage is in his favor. Regardless of whatever prior/current BJJ Haye may under his belt.

In addition: I am assuming that the TS was joking about Haye becoming Pound for Pound king in all fight sports in three years. But with Haye fans one can never be certain....

Kimbo has been training in mma for two years. The vast majority of the time he has been working on take downs and getting back to his feet. His take downs are poor at very very best.

Haye would only have to stay on his feet and land one shot. Give him a week to work on take down defense with top wrestling coaches and kimbo would be ****ed.

What makes you say this? He was doing excellent training with Bas.

You can't learn anything in a week. Seriously, don't you think these fighters with gaping holes in there games would if they could? Why doesn't Rampage just learn how to check a kick? Its a lot easier than learning wrestling basics even. Coz its not like that, fighters aren't computer game characters that you can just add bits onto; this is a major misunderstanding ppl have about MMA.

I'll take a guy with a few years of top quality training over a guy with no training who is a boxer anyday. Having said that general stuff, Kimbo would likely shoot a double leg and knock himself out a la Mark Kerr or something.
