I thought Wlad within 6 by KO. I was WRONG. I did not think, or anyone else thought this went this distance. Was the fight explosive...no. I have to give Haye props for lasting 12 rounds. He did not want to engage because he did not want to get KO'd. I did say the only way Haye wins is to come out swinging from the start. I did not think Haye would do that and he did not.

Wlad did what he had to do to win, hit and not get hit and win the fight. Haye should have opened it up once he knew the only chance of winning is by KO. He didn't do that because he did not want to get KO'd.I think if Haye tried to stand toe to toe with Wlad he was getting KO'd. Not the best fight to look back on, but, we do have a unified champion, (Not undiputed). Props for both of them taking the fight. Haye's banter before the fight and the toe on tv while in the ring is something I have never seen before, nor do I hope to see again.

Was not explosive fight, but, like above we do have a unified champion. I think when all is said and done, Haye just could not back up his words. Anyone who saw the fight will realize that Haye was fighting to survive. On the flip side, think Wlad should have went for the KO, but, regardless HE WON and now has Hayes belt.

    Just thoughts here.....Peace :deal
