Agreed, but have it at the Staples Center because David Haye is made for LA. The dude has a million dollar mug, and Hollywood is always looking for the next big thing. His mug would be plastered all over billboards on Sunset Blvd, and if he wins, he becomes a celebrity… moves to Malibu… …dates Hollywood starlets… …lands roles in motion pictures. Say goodbye to your hometown hero, UK, lol.

What do you mean by 'big draws'. Where do you think the money would be coming from?

Seeing as how Dubai World, the company that did all that development in Dubai, is something like $95 billion in debt, and Abu Dhabi just sunk tens of billions into Sadayaat Island, I simply don't see this happening. Hell Qatar, the richest nation in the Middle East per capita, just defaulted on their debt because their real estate development is worthless now.

I am sure some sheikh can find $120 million, but this isn't happening.

Vegas is hardly booming, but they still seem to be managing to put events on.

They don't have 90 billion in debt.

This fight has an excellent chance of happening, even if the other UAE states have to throw in a little cash here an there just to get the country on the map. Though it is going to be kinda funny to see drunk brits getting dragged away by the dozens.

Well for starters some of the debt in Vegas is Emirati debt, like the aborted Fountainbleau project. Station has a lot of debt, but aside from UFC they aren't really involved in fights. Outside of Station I think Harrah's is indebted, but even then the sums are a tenth or less than what Dubai World is dealing with. I mean even Abu Dhabi has 18 billion sunk into Saadiyat, and that is being built smartly. Most of the development in the Emirates is not practcial, and ultimately would fail if not for massive oil subsidies.

UK, US or Germany for the fight. I would be sick if they held it in that rat hole.

    Completely unfactual statements.
Abu Dhabi has the worlds largest sovereign wealth fund and could easily, easily afford to stage a fight like this.
Give me a link on that statement you made about Qatar???
    Total lies.

Not lies, and Abu Dhabi does have a huge sovereign wealth fund, part of which they used to bail out Dubai. They are not going to tap into that to put on a boxing match. As for Qatar try this on for size http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8602951.stm
