Haye vs Klitschko off?

Yes Wlad pussied out of a serious challenge yet again.

It's his wobbly jaw you see Sanders cracked it and Haye wants to shatter it

As much as I like Haye and as much as I have derided Vlad , fact is Klitschko is the champ so Haye needs to swallow his pride and make the f**kin fight !

 

attention all. this came from inside the Hayemaker camp.

K2 Promotions wanted a 2 fight option on Haye, which stated he would have to vacate the belt if he had a mandatory (Povetkin would have to happen in 2009) to take those fights. Haye agreed on the premise that those fights were a rematch with Wlad and a fight with Vitali, but K2 wanted to be able to put Haye in with anyone that is ranked by one of the 4 belts. Also Haye wanted the money to be 50-50 in the further 2 fights with Vitali or Wlad, and at least 1 of those to be held in the UK, but K2 said no to this and would only pay Haye a small percentage more for the 2 additional fights, even if they were agaisnt non Klitsckos and for the world titles.

Basically K2 would be able to promote Haye for two fights, force him to vacate the titles, not fight in his home country, and fight agaisnt guys like Ray Austin, Hasim Rahman, Tony Thompson and so on.

no wonder haye said no.

 

You can't blame Haye if the fight doesn't happen. Even a blind man can see that haye is desperate to face either Klit.Throughout his career Haye has always taken on the toughest challenges even when he didn't have to. I've always been doubtful that Wlad didn't fancy this fight, and if he goes and fights some useless fringe contender the likes of which he has been fighting recently, his credibility and respect will disappear

 

And when the parties were discussing the proposed joint promotion at Stamford Bridge, the Klits insisted that they had control of the spending of expenses which was unlimited and to come out of the total purse. As haye wasn't on a guaranteed purse, the Klits would have effectively been spending Haye's money!!! This was the main reason the joint promotion in London floundered

 

yeah , Im not saying its neccesarily (?) Hayes fault but the fact is Klit holds the belt and Haye can beat him so whatever he needs to do to get Vlad to sign on the dotted line ( within reason ) Haye should be doing.

 

Ok if that lot is for real then fair enough , that's bush league

 

I am not too sure this is what happened. What if Haye is being unreasonable?

 

As was said before, Wlad is the champ, and the champ is in the drivers seat when it comes to negotiating fight terms, and Haye should make concessions to get the shot. Haye is pretty demanding for a guy who has only two wins at Heavyweight, one against an unknown and the other against a washed up former fringe contender. Wlad has lots of other options, and Haye needs Wlad more than Wlad needs Haye.

 

wlads options should be fight agaisnt the guy the fans want to see.........that is Haye.

Wlad has jsut used Haye to promote his name a little bit.

 

Remember Haye was the challenger to Mormeck and Haye fought the Frenchman in France on a Don King show. King was Mormeck's promotoer.
If Haye was the unreasonable type this fight would never have happened
