would have been great to get to a big heavyweight title fight with a uk guy in the mix.

 

bummer buddy. Last I heard they were having trouble securing an arena. Haye was to secure it and it seemed to have fallen through... who knows at this point... maybe it will. But with no arena in the UK and Haye stating he would fight in Germany... I would think UK is not very likely.

i dont know why he cant secure a venue i thought he had 2 fight he next 2 fights at the o2 arena london.

 

I think that when the purse % was split, it was based on Haye saying he had the soccer stadium (45,000 seats). He didnt have it. The O2 is 20,000 (i think) thats a huge difference when the split was already agreed to. I guess O2 could still happen
