Haye has fought his fight already...he's done a great job in the lead up to the fight but he's done before he steps one foot in the ring :yep

Promoters have wisely decided to have the weigh in at a sports shop. Apparently it's packed already and the boxers are hours away. Bizarre.

 

That just made my weekend. Got a confirmation email from the acting bar manager and it looks like they've updated the website with the details, so to all the boxing fans in Perth make your way (and bring your friends) to Carbon Sports Bar.....the Geale v Slyvester turnout was embarrasing at Carbon and we don't need a repeat. Eve nightclub is a fairly decent place which closes (coincidently) close to the start of the PPV, so you can head to the big screens straight after any late saturday night shenanigans.

And for the record: My money would be on Wlad to win by decision (I'm going for Haye but my prediction: Wlad by MD/UD), but just because Hayes durability is virtually untested at heavyweight doesn't mean he doesnt have a chance - great speed and obvious skill could trouble Wlad. However, Wlad is a a bit more polished defensively and if he can tag Haye with a very good shot early on, I'd expect Haye to stick a hit-and-run approach and lose on points.

Both guys in great shape as expected. I thought Wladimir might have come in a touch lighter than he did. Haye's weight is spot on, with the emphasis on speed.

 

It's going to look like a mugging, Haye too small...Wlad has trained for fast movement so that's why he's 2 kgs lower than his normal weight...it's perfact...faster Wlad means more power when the shot lands :yep

 

Haye is going to have the **** beat out of him.
