If it does come out there was a clause to fight Wlad after then a further 2 fights controlled by Klitschko management, I have to wonder what the Klitschko negotiators are thinking? 1 fight for each brother is sufficient should Haye be successful 1st time round. If a win is surrounded by controversy, I'm sure Haye would get it on again as he'd have a lot more bargaining power as the winner of the previous bout, but somehow I don't think any fight between David Haye and Vitali / Wladimir Klitschko goes 12 rounds to cause any controversy on the scorecards.

that's what rahman thought when he took the lewis rematch for a duffle bag full of canadian tire money. King ain't got a lot of time left in the game, he's gonna **** as many people as he can, as quickly as he can. Haye ain't smart enough to deal with him

    Dont see the problem here.
This will show us if he's for real at,ahem 'top level HW':)roll:)and if he has a chance against a Klit;and also covers the 'he should EARN his shot at the champ(s)' bit as well.
Which he will have done far more if he beats Valuev.

Well if we create a scenario where Haye beats both Klitschkos and has to be managed by them, I'd choose Don King too personally....King is a **** yes but he's getting old now and like him or hate him he's staged some of the biggest fights in boxing history. Not a WALDO V Iggy in sight :hey

EXACTLY. Adam Booth is WAYYYYYY over his head with Don King. I will be SHOCKED if this fight comes off unless Haye was fine with DK options. No way Haye can win the WBA belt and walk away without DK having a piece of his future

He talked all that ****, pulls out of one fight with a mysterious injury, then bitches out of another. I've lost alot of respect for Haye. I hope he gets KO'd by Valuev's feather fists.

There are many ways to talk about the contract. I think that Klitschko wants himself a fight. You could talk about the conditions.

But i ve got the impression that Haye has a second thought and wants to test his abilities against a worse boxer like Valuev who is just big, but neither fast nor really strong.

This crap about to be independent and so is just an excuse. He could try harder. Go to the media and so on before signing for Valuev and give up on the Klit-Contract.

According to that report he's signed a contract to fight Valuev. I suspect Haye was negotiating with Valuev on the quiet and took the better deal. I'll also speculate that King knows Haye will clean Valuevs clock so asked Haye what he was getting from Klitschko, and beat the offer providing he got options on Haye.

I might be wrong but that sounds like King to me. You've said yourself many times it's business, Haye has negotiated himself the best deal and will also have more bargaining power for a fight with either brother after this because he'll be a belt holder.

Thats it right there. Its not the contract (althought that is what David will make it out to be) its that Haye decided to go with King rather then Klitschko for his future.

Sounds like Haye took the easy route. He should beat Valuev, but, it would be great if Nicky kHTFO.
