you're clearly a casual imposter if you think Toney is not a worthy opponent, its the toughest fight for haye apart from wlad. unless you mean toney as khan and haye as prescott

toney would give haye huge problems with that shoulder roll and counter punching style

as supposed to someone who isn't known, can't give away a ticket and will get bowled over in the first round.

James Toney will be by far, hayes toughest fight ever anyone who thinks otherwise seriously dont know ****.

I do fear for toney's health though, he is slurring his words so badly now, how bad will it be after taking hayes right hands for 12 rounds.
Im not sure if haye can stop him its possible though, but toney is so ressilient he will give haye a decsent work out and it will be far from a for gone conclusion.

Where say, rahman eats canvas by round 3

I dont agree. At this stage in JT's career his mobility is near non-exisitant. His defense of course remains good but with such a lack of movement and tough chin he is likely to take a beating of scarey proportions. Durability is not a plus point if all it does for you is enable to to take a worse beating.

It could play out as a tough fight for Haye but I doubt JT has that left in him.

I dont get how people will be "gutted" if this is Haye's opponent:patsch.

Who the hell should he fight that would give u a hard on? I cant think of anyone besides the title holders..and thats not an option.

Toney is tough and still kinda slick... so not the ideal opponent for Haye..they must think hes really shot.

No need for the harsh words man.

Im not trying to be a **** im just stating facts that are true. Not because im anti Haye, yes im not a fan but i wont try and discredit a man with lies.

In your post you actually prove my point with Haye v Toney.

If Mormeck was a stylistic nightmare, him being short and having a tight guard, what would James Toney be like for him then?

Toney, short, still slick enough to make people look bad, his chin has always been excellent and he has enough power to hurt Haye.

Seriously Mormeck has been known to have stamina problems...he did in both Bell fights and in some of his previous defenses. BUT against a performer like Haye you cant gas around round 5. Mormeck slowed dramatically and Haye had more time to place his power.

I had Mormeck 1 point up due to the knockdown but apart from that the fight was very close.

I think he is a mobile, fast, skilled 230lb heavyweight with a big punch and iffy punch resistance.

Feel free to prove me wrong on any points.

Tough fight for Haye, depending on whether JT has declined even more.

The worst possible first fight for Haye at HW. Likely to look bad and not win by KO.

    fast: :nono

    skilled: :nono

    "proper" heaveyweight: :nono

    iffy punch resistance: :good

add. reckless, wild, poor boxing brain and lack of a legit jab the most important punch in boxing and you have some1 who will get schooled by a washed up but still shoulder rolling and hides in that philly shell. "LIGHTS OUT"
