Who has he faced that's worth mentioning?

Maccarinelli needs to be respected in this fight, he's a serious threat.

To have respect you have to fight and beat the best. I look at Enzo's record and I see a washed up Braithwaite and thats it. He is a threat, but he has not really been tested by a credible challenge!

Personally, I don't give a **** who wins this fight. I just hope the winner does the right thing and fights Steve Cunningham.

Haye and Macca both have the big punch but I fancy Enzo to do more work and actually box while working his openings. I wouldn't have said that before he went to the calzaghe gym. Seen a fair bit of Haye over the years and watched the Mormeck fight again recently. Haye was so casual with his low hands and has a far lower punch output than Enzo. He said he isn't changing for this fight and while that open style eventually had success against the much shorter Mormeck, it isn't so easy against a fighter of a similar physical stature. I think Macca will frustrate Haye with his workrate early on whilst Haye settles in and tries to feel for distance. Then Haye will start launching bombs as thats the only way he knows with stamina having been an issue throught his career. It then depends whether Haye gets trough with the big one as I feel Enzo is now capable of boxing a decision or ko

    Good post.

Methinks Enzo will pull the upset and knockout Haye. Enzo is a very hard right handed puncher and Haye can be hit.

When those body shots land and the hands drop, leaving it open for Haye to land a sledgehammer punch, we'll soon see whether Enzo can box his way through 12.

    Haye KO.

Don't get to hung up about it bud, your writing style(which i like for the record, your obvious enthusiasm compliments the prose) will soon become familiar to us all, im sure.
Still undecided but leaning towards Enzo as the fight draws near for some reason.
    Welcome btw:hi:

Don't worry, it's a compliment. You have a good writing style, even if it is a bit corny & cheesey here & there. :yep j/k

Picked Enzo to win this fight when it was announced and I have noticed that a number of posters on here are doing the same now. Haye is good but Enzo is better. Can't think of a fight I would rather see in 2008.

When he uses it, Maccarinelli has got one of the best jabs at Cruiserweight. It's fast, it's straight and it's heavy. It's a wonderful sight in full working order. The problem is, he doesn't use it enough. If Enzo is to be successful, he's got to pump that jab out lots. I also like the quick hook to the body he uses from time to time, it looks a sikcening punch. He's got all the basics to win this fight. The thrilling thing is, so has Haye.

Maccaranelli might, Haye has much bigger fish to fry. Cunningham didnt greatly impress me against the very ordinary Huck, he doesn't have the arsenal to trouble either of them imo.
