I went to see the Wolves vs the Celtics when the NBA came to London. The Arena for the B Ball itself is awesome and no diffrent at all to the ones in the states.

That is exactly what I just said. The atmosphere might be great but I want to actually see the fight and not just cheer when the white guy in the horizon falls down.
And that would be £60. If I want a half decent not even good seat it is £150 and thats before I have spent a penny on food or beer.:?

Frank Warren has been doing that for years. I used to go to his shows in the mid 80s and it was the same then. Haven't paid to go to a Warren show since 1987

It doesn't surprise me it is on Setanta, Frank has been putting all his big fights on there, I wonder how much they are paying him per fight compared to ITV? The O2 is a good venue, especially since it is brand new as the arena was only built recently by AEG. I fully expect Haye to starch Macca in a relatively entertaining fight. As for the attendance, expect something in the 20,000 range, 25,000 seems a bit excessive this isn't Saitama we are talking about here.

As far as ticket prices this is one place where I have to give guys like Arum and Kohl and Sauerland their due. They price the tickets quite well with the very closest being expensive but the rest being very reasonably priced.

I know its expensive for a cheap seat.Trust me iv been there and sat in the cheap seats and you wont see squat from up there so its not really worth it.You`d probably be better of watching it outside on the big screen TV.I may sit in the car park for that one:yep

The o2 is not that high, even with cheap tickets you can see a lot better than high in the Millenium

I saw the Khan v Limond fight there, atmosphere was pretty good

Does anyone else think that Macca can provide a better test for Haye's chin as he contemplates a move to heavy than say Mormeck did?

Yes. Mac hits harder in my opinion but more importantly he has a better reach, and sets his shots up with the jab. If Haye fights like he did in the first 3 rounds of the Mormeck fight, ie left hand on the floor, low output of punches etc...he will get KO'd.

If he lifts the hand up and comes out firing of the back of his own jab used properly...I expect him to KO Mac.

    Not really...

Mac is rated as some sort of devastating puncher, but in reality his KO ratio is nothing extraordinary for a cruiser. That too against Cardiff cab drivers

I'd say his power is about the same as Mormeck, but they are different sorts of punchers. Mac has a better reach and jab. That's where Haye has the advantage, he will know what it's like to take those sort of punches and knows he can get back up. Mac will not have a clue whats hit him when Haye lands
