Just think about it! Wlad wanted Haye in July, but David walked away with the Chagaev excuse, and now that Ruslan wants Haye he's walking away with the hep-B excuse despite Wlad safely went through the fight with Chagaev, remaining healthy and becoming the lineal HW champion. But it seems Haye doesn't want that title, he wants to become the 1st man to face ten 38 year-olds in a row as his team is currently negotiating with non other than Jean Marc Mormeck!

What an excellent opportunity for Haye to go back to cruiserweight before the WBA strips him! He and Mormeck had a nice battle a few years back, and when he's done with Jean Marc (by another rabbit punch KO), he can rematch Maccarinelli too! Huge PPVs ahead!

I say grab this opportunity to save face, something not always worked for David Haye.

Wlad did. Interesting that a so-called "ducker" faced Chagaev but Haye doesn't want to. It could be done in Germany and still sell the PPV in the UK. What's the excuse?

I think Haye is facing a wall here... Those 38 year olds won't stay 38 forever.
Jean Marc will be pushing 39 if the "rematch of the century" takes off, then Oquendo comes into play, then Gomez and he has to face Tua and Rahman before November ending the year with Donnell Holmes.

Tough, tough scedule for David :yep

I find it funny that it's all cool for Chagaev to fight, but when it comes down to him fighting for the WBA title either vs. Valuev or Haye then that **** becomes unacceptable. Tell the guy what it is he can do. So he can retire or keep fighting. But in the long run I wasn't really excited about him fighting Haye. To bad they can't make a Haye/ Poetkin or Boystov fight instead of the Mormeck. Be funny if Mormeck pulls the upset this time aroud.

Haye vs. Mormeck II: excellent opportunity to go back to cruiserweight!

Haye never really was even a heavyweight contender. He never beat one single top heavyweight. Not one. He spent the whole night running away from Valuev and the fixed judges gave him the decision for running away all night long and landing one single good punch. He is a disgrace to boxing and if the latest mock British investigation into the sham fight with Harrison had been real he would have been stripped of his sham title and banned from fighting for a year.

Mormeck is a HW now, and Haye would be crazy to drop his HW strap, he is cashing in on his last few fights and no one cares about the CW divison.

Sorry for the serious answer, I am sure you were just trolling.

Haye was never serious about really making a dent in the Heavyweight division, he is settling for some decent paydays instead.

If Haye was a real heavyweight contender let alone "champ" (ha ha), how about selecting an opponent from say the top 15 or so. Here's a list:

But no doubt he'd rather have a rematch with his pal Harrison.
