    Two interesting things to remark:

    1. While it's obviously overshadowed by Cotto vs Mosley, i think this is still a relatively big fight for a cruiserweight fight. Compared to most other CW fights anyway. Cruiserweights get very little attention in the rule.

    2. If this turns out to be a great fight, it would be the second great fight between two European fighters within a short period of time.

Sorry to stray off topic, but is this being shown in the US?

    Could be a great fight.

im looking forward to seeing the "savior" of the hw division :yep Seriously though, I think Haye is an unknown quantity up to this point. Mormeck is really strong and a good boxer but he seems to have real stamina issues. He was out on his feet several times against Bell in their rematch more out of sheer exhaustion rather than a poor chin. Haye could potentially outlast him. I dont see this ending early. Late tko or sloppy decision. tossup fight. mormeck SD

I hope MSG picks it up

Yes Mormeck was having stamina issues in both matches against Bell, BUT you have to consider that both fights were very fast pace and high energy, and quite entertaining. I'm not sure if Haye can take on that type of fight, but hopefully he learned from his Carl Thompson fight.

I can't wait to see this

BOTH have stamina issues! Flipping fantastic fight!

It is sickening, no absolutely gaulling to know that this fight is NOT being broadcast in the UK. This is a complete joke/farce/ridiculous situation.

This fight is big for Haye. This is a boomtime for British boxing and people are not making the most of it. The country's best fighter is shafted onto a 1am start on a channel nobody's ever heard of, Ricky Hatton is put onto PPV on a subscription channel and NO ****ER is even showing Haye vs Mormeck!!

And we wonder why boxing is a minority sport!!!

you're right it was pretty high pace but it wasnt insane. I also think he is way too big. he looks like a body builder and im sure his bulkiness contributed to his poor stamina. at the end of the 6th, it looked like he was gonna need a stretcher. he did gut it out though but he almost ran out of the ring the last two rounds. And people say mayweather is a runner!?! It was even funnier when the french timekeeper rang the bell 20 seconds too early in the last round :yep

One thing you guys gotta remember about the 2nd Mormeck/Bell fight was that the temperature in the ring was insane, and that will always hamper your stamina. Alot of Mormeck's good stoppages happened late in fights.

This is a 55/45 fight in favor of Haye, but I'm pulling for Mormeck cause I know he will stick around at cruiser, and a fight between he and I will be very likely due to me fighting in a wbc eliminator.

Haye all the way. Should be easy win for David. Mormeck badly overrated, so it will be not as competitive or interesting that so many expects.
    Haye by wide UD.
