Heard today that David Haye vs Samuel Peter is being mentioned for March. 6 years ago this would have been a great fight.
Both been very inactive in the last 5 years and Peter looked way too big in his previous fight.
If Peter can get down to around 250 it could be interesting, if he's anything above, its another early night for Haye

I think this is a great fight for haye and a good payday for peter. He's going to get brutalized so hope it's a big check.

This fight will effectively end Peter's time near a ring. Can you imagine the shots haye will be unleashed on peter. Good few rounds for haye as they're needed after 3.5 year vacation

Wouldn't be surprised. Haye's always had a liking for building up interest by beating old has-beens at heavyweight. Now he's a has-been himself so it makes sense for him to fight someone who twice as much a has-been, a man who most people have completely forgotten.

Haye is doing what he did before,it's the same blueprint, beat past it HW's and then start shooting off his mouth about everyone ducking him and how all the HW's are bums.

YT video is still up where he calls everyone at HW a bum

Yeah, but he never dragged anyone out of retirement. Not to my knowledge.

Awful fight, but i dont care about that, the great thing about it would be him coming back early march and staying active

Haye will build up that peters a former world champion so the casuals will buy that he's decent even though he's been in the Nigerian police force for the past 4 years.

Having said that it's still a better fight than a lot that have been touted

I'd rather see haye fight arreola or even the one of those lumps that took arreola the distance last year.

I thought Haye would of gone for someone with a high HW ranking if he wants to move up quickly. It now looks like the WBA won't be a viable route.
