I disagree. He can make pretty good money fighting Haye. Probably more than against anyone else other than Klitchko.

    Easy KO win for Potvetkin!

My point is that Povetkin will receive more than Brock, which is also more than what Haye got for his fight against Maccarinelli (huge fight in England). There's no way in hell Povetkin would get more money for fighting Haye this summer than he would for fighting Klitschko in the fall. You can't win this argument... quit already :lol::lol:

I'll refer to my point earlier on, i said pay povetkin more than he's worth as the fight will be a means to an end which is a guarenteed shot at wlad after thompson. thats my point. i said pay him more money than hes worth, looking at it as an investment!!! look bk to page 1. so dont tell me to quit this, dozy yank.

It´s allowed for a #1 contender to fight someone other than the champion for sure and many #1 contenders do that, but usually then fight some kind of a tuneup fight. I´m certain Povetkin would not fight Haye like this, but he may well take some kind of a tuneup fight.

This would be a fantastic fight between two exciting young heavies. Unfortunately I can not see it happening in the near future.

Povetkin would make more fighting Klitschko. Why waste the time and risk something. Povetkin is also Russian which is a big factor. Haye just wants to fight soon and make alot of money. It will not hurt his career if he loses. he can fight for some other title. I have a thought that povetkin is going to keep getting better it will be hard for any one his size to beat him. also david haye walks around 217-220 povetkin walks around 240 A little different

Ain't gonna happen, is what I think. Povetkin's folks ain't stupid! They'll get him a tune up and wait for their shot at the Champ. He'll be able to fight Haye if he loses.

Haye should spark someone like Rahman then move onto Povetkin and then Wlad.

True. Money talks, but if he beats Vlad he will make much more money. That would be a great test for Haye.

i think that haye needs to get himself on the undercard in a big heavyweight fight. the ideal one would be wlad - thompson as i assume hbo will be televising it and he could showcase what he has to offer at that weight and really stir things up with wlad and create a buzz
