the '03 lewis was tougher, stronger, seasoned and confident. he had a better variety of punches including that vicious uppercut. '93 lewis seemed more like today's wlad. more cautious, less willing to enage and reliant on the jab, right-cross. old lennox imposes his will.

i think the strength difference would have made the difference to offset the handspeed gap.

    Lewis tko 9 Lewis :yep

Both have very shaky chins. Whoever lands first. I'd bet on Bruno.

Bruno was a very good heavyweight with very heavy hands. 38 kos in 40 wins is impressive no matter how you look at it. As already mentioned Haye hasn't done anything at heavyweight yet so it's hard to even predict this matchup. But judging by Haye's shaky chin, and Bruno being the much bigger and physically imposing man I would choose him to take Haye out early. Bruno's biggest opponent was himself. He'd been suffering from mental illness for many years, and I can only imagine how that impacted some of his higher level fights.

    What the **** ?

Are you off your anti-Klit meds ?
You argued vigorously with me about a year ago that Lewis never ducked the bigger Klit.

    Finally !

    Now to Bruno and Haye.

What the **** is this thread doing here until Haye does something, anything at Heavy ?

IMO, Bruno makes short work of any version of Haye.

(BTW, Prime Vitaly would beat Bruno, by brutal KO.

With Wlad, the result would probably be the reverse.)

i think bruno would spark haye,i've yet to be convinced about haye.someone says bruno never had a killer instinct!! i think they're getting his out of the ring personality mixed up with his knock out ability.if he had a guy in trouble he usually sparked them no problem.his problem was his stamina later in fights, and seemingly an inability to go into survival mode when hurt.he was ahead against bonecrusher smith until caught in the last round, had gave witherspoon all of the trouble he could handle until he gassed again and was stopped late.these were tough guys, with good chins tougher i would suggest than some of todays contenders who've been mentioned as beating bruno on here.he also gave very good efforts against lewis and the first tyson fight.all of these guys who beat him are not exactly bums.
