Interesting, dangerous fight given that David doesn't have the greatest punch resistance. However, Rahman moves like he's about 10,000 feet under water so Haye should win unless he ****s up badly.
A good fight for Haye, Rahman is a nice and static target, he has a name for the fluke punch against Lewis.
seriously this is a GREAT fight for david haye. 1. david is fast. even with the extra muscle he'll be fast enough. 2. rahman is SLOOOOOW. 3. rahman's chin ain't that good. 4. rahman has power, but delivers it slow just like his general movements. 5. rahman's desire was ebbing as we saw lately, but it's totally gone after maskaev knocked him out a second time. that, and he is not conditioned anymore. and finally, rahman is a BIG name still in america. and it's a great testing fight for haye. if haye goes life and death with rahman or loses then he knows that division is not for him. but if he wins, which is highly likely then he gets huge exposure and a solid test at the same time. however, to really test himself he'll have to knock off a serious contender like povetkin, or a recent former champ like sultan. only then will we know how he well he as adapted to the heavies.
Easy night for Haye, Rahman is finished as a top contender. Haye needs to fight a top contender if he's serious about HW.
Rahman has a longer reach and a powerful jab, his chin isnt as bad as people like to suggest. He may be slow now but his jab will still keep Haye off and do damage.
His jab will not be enough to keep Haye off. Haye will have the speed and skill to out jab and then ko Rahman nice and early. :good
Another china chin for Haye to crack. This fight would be perfect for him to establish a rep at HW, by beating a name opponent who can't take a good punch.
Hasn't Hasim ballooned up to ridiculous weights? Honestly this would be a nice name for Haye to have on his resume.
