Groves vs Adamu and Olegusun vs Lynnes for the Commonwealth belts. Also Jamie Moore in a comeback fight at Middleweight full time now. whats your thoughts on these. I am really looking forward to seeing Groves step up. Adamu was a tough fight for Froch and although that was a few years ago I still think he would be a tough fight for anyone outside the world top 20. If Groves can win it in style it will be a massive statement. I get the feeling Adamu will answer a couple of questions we still have about Groves, but by the sounds of his sparring with some world class fighters, he should be ok. Olegusun vs Lynnes is not the most attractive fight of all time, but it is what fans want, a genuine 50-50 fight. Its the biggest step up so far for Ajose.
I see Groves putting on a master-class performance and capturing the attention of those who haven't seen him before and the biggest accolades. I thought Adamu got a VERY lucky decision against Dilks and Groves will simply make him look stupid for 12 rounds. I can't see a Groves KO win though as Adamu has a good set of whiskers on him. Olegusun vs Lynnes. Can Ajose recover from the shock of not landing a Pacquaio/Mayweather Jr/Bradley/Khan fight? That's the big question here. Lynnes circa 07-08 easily wins and if he has got anything left we could see an "upset" as I see him jab Ajose silly all night and winning a UD. If, however, he has taken this fight to "top up his pension" I see the former Nigerian, African and WBF International king winning on points and leaving us, the public, demanding that Floyd stops ducking him.
I see the Groves and Haye fights going the same way. Both will completley outclass there durable opponent, but they wont be able to take the punishment for 12 rounds.
