Of course it's very easy to vote for Haye here now that Peter lost. I would still say Peter might cause difficulties for Haye as Haye would cause problems for him too.

Still need to watch more of Haye at heavyweight to decide, you never know we might end up having a serious puncher in the division with excellent speed.

Sam Peter would IMO be too much for Haye. I would expect a knockout before the fight was half over. First trip to the ropes for Haye and his fight plan would be out the window. If his shaky chin would allow him to survive the first exchange he would be in survival mode until he got koed.

People have to understand Haye is not Vitalli Klitchko and Peter is no walkover. Even though Peter is wide open up the middle you have to hammer him pretty good to hurt him. Mcline had him in serious trouble but could not finish. He landed good shots up the middle but put himself in harms way to get his chances. As soon as Peter recovered he got busier than Mcline and kept him on the defensive for the rest of the fight. Oleg Maskaev had his moments against Peter but was outboxed until he was stopped by some pretty big shots. Haye has not shown anyone that he could beat a Maskaev or even Rahmam. Both of whom would fall to today's version of Sam Peter. No he fights Barrett who was manhandled for most of his fight with Rahman. Not exactly a top contender. TOS would have been as good IMO.

I can almost guarantee Barrett is full of confidence going in against Haye. He has seen Haye on the deck and figures on doing the same but keeping him there. No way is he going to crumble knowing he is only one shot away from another win. I don't care if Haye is landing his shots Barrett is one tough guy and will fight back until ktfo. I have this one even going in. No way am I getting caught up in the circus style Hype Team Haye is spewing. Peter on the other hand would be a huge favorite and almost shure to score a knockout over Haye.

Peter would knock Hayes out, Hell, Barrett might beat him to it.

Peter like 95% of today's division is a joke he comes in fat because he is hardheaded and cocky, Haye could easily keep distance and circle him and keep him in the middle of the ring, after 3 rds Peter will be very tired and Haye will stop him. And yes Peter is that bad, I knew when McCline had him ready to go he was nothing special.

Peter is already limited to begin with but at 253+ he couldn't catch a cold, plus he starts breathing hard early as hell and every body in thier mama can see his punches coming, I'll take Haye. Hell if showed up at 253 for the biggest fight of his life, I wouldn't be surprised to see him at 270+ 1 day.
