Haye murders him with big punches early on; Skelton too brave for his own good gets knocked out/pulled out a the midway point.

Skelton may have a better chin, and even a bigger heart and better stamina, but Haye has the advantage in speed, power, footwork, accuracy, head movement, reflexes etc. etc. etc.

Haye has too big an advantage in too many departments.

yep good analysis thinking the same myself, i heard warren has paid haye 600,000 to fight skelton? pretty decent money to knock someone out inside 5

I'd rather see him in with Rahman, mainly for the name value. A win over a former world champion looks a bit better on the ledger than a win over a former world title challenger.

yep could not agree more, i wanted rahman to be the man for the same reasons really, plus he has a pretty poor chin and would make haye look good. but oh well, we will have to see

It would be good to see another Sports Network fighter get KTFO, I must admit.

But I don't see it happening here. Skelton as a granite chin, and is durable enough to go the distance in a snoozer.

Skelton definitely wouldn't go the distance. He has a solid chin, but his style costs him here. He wades in square on, Chagaev was tagging him at will late in the fight, and I don't see Chagaev as having the handspeed, precision or power of David Haye

I see him walking onto one right hand too many, nobody goes the distance with Haye like that

Unless Haye is looking to test himself against a heavy with a proven chin I can't see much he can gain from this. I like Skelton but he is unknown outside the UK and wouldn't do anything to advance Haye's claim for a title shot, plus he's likely to take Haye into the later rounds if not all the way, and unless Haye can temper his all-out style he could find himself gassed after 5-6 rounds and then it's anyones guess...

What would happen guys if Skelton weathered the early storm ala Thompson?

Ive just finished watching Haye v Thompson and people say he has improved but i cant see where.

Basically what im saying is if Skelton made Haye work, would Haye fall apart?

I think Haye was weight drained and Carl was superb and taking punishment.

I think his stamina has improved but his left is still very low.

M8 you got a Cane Corso ? I went to look at one once but it looked like a mutant Corso (no where near breed standard, too long and skinny, more like a greyhound with a Corso face).

    True,

there are two things i want to see when Haye fights next,

    1. Has he carried his power up with him

    2. What happens when he gets hit off a heavy.

One thing that disturbed me after the Mormeck fight was Booth saying they make the weight easy and he has never had trouble making the weight. If this is true then is his stamina really that bad and he has been put down off cruisers who arent considered heavy hitters.

Not yet im going abroad in July so i will be getting one when i come back. My mates got one andits a beast, excellent guard dog and excellent with the kids. If he dont know you you wont get near the house or family.

That was Booth's master plan into getting Warren to offer them the Enzo fight for meaga money. The plan worked and we all know what happened to Enzo.

This is similar to what I was looking for in a Corso. Can you still dock the tails ? There were only a handful of breeders in the country at that time and I was quoted more than £1K for a puppy (dog few months old) that was not even show class.

I think docking is illegal in Europe. I know cropping their ears is illegal in Europe.

Docking though im not to sure?

I was thinking about it the other day as I saw a Boxer and a Rottweiler with a tail.
