Tua never had belts to dangle in front of Haye. So I do believe that getting Haye in the ring without them would be more difficult than building a time machine to get this done in the first place.
Oh, gotcha. Haye against prime Tua gets Moorer'd. The problem would be actually getting Haye in the ring to fight Tua.
The Hayemaker beats every active heavyweight except the klits!! and if he had more heart + is fully fit he beats vlad!!
You don't think Haye could have run and pot-shotted from a Prime Tua at all? What I would consider lesser fighters than Haye (David Izon, for example) were able to last quite a long time with a Prime Tua. I agree with a Tua KO as the outcome, but figure it would take longer for Tua to catch Haye; maybe around the 10th. :bbb
Haye would KO Tua now. Tua's too fat, too slow, and too old now. But still, I'd like to see him beat Barrett on Sunday. He could get a title shot if he wins impressively.
Oquendo, before making a dumb mistake and getting KOd, was making Tua look foolish. And that's when Tua was still fresh. Haye will play with him.
I like Tua, but even in his prime he's going to struggle with Haye. Tua v Byrd, Oquendo and Lewis..... weren't even competitive. Oquendo got caught up in sticking his tongue out and mugging.... and then he got caught. But prior to that, Oquendo was embarrassing Tua.
