  2. Did you lot do any research and follow up on this story yourselves? Did you even read the article on the scene? The reason this fight MAY fall through is because of Ruiz - not Haye. I'm no fan of Haye; he lost all respect from me during the Klit debacle, but if the Valuev fight falls through it's because of Ruiz not Haye.

No Haye wants a free ride. If the fight isn't for the belt he can still fight can't he!

  6. No, the fight is not off. As things stand now, the fight is still ON.

However, Ruiz is doing everything possible to try and stop it.

  9. This coming from the thread starter as well. Shame on you. Where does it say that if the fight isn't for the belt he won't fight? I think you just made that up. Go ahead and prove me wrong though.

  10. Let me get this straight. If Ruiz scuppers the Haye v Valuev fight, it's because Haye wants a free ride? That makes no sense whatsoever. I'll say it again; I'm not a fan of Haye, but quite frankly what you're suggesting is absurd.

Exactly, Ruiz has won TWO of his last SIX fights. That is is even in the top ten is a JOKE!

But then, Ruiz always got his undeserved rankings and many title shots through CONNECTIONS and LITIGATION, not because of any real merit. That's one of many things that makes him such a disgrace to the sport.

Wouldnt waste your breath mate. This is just the usual idiotic knee jerk reactions from fans with as much depth as a bird bath.

Ruiz is unreal. His love affair with the WBA stretches as far back as the Holyfield trilogy. If it wasnt for Don King that man never would have got a look in.

Must be because he's willing to give up mucho $$$ to King & friends for this stuff.. because he knows it's the only way he makes ANY money boxing.
