Because we all knew this fight wouldnt come off with the Ruiz/Dk connection. I mean really..how ****ing dumb can they be?
It would be so ironic if Haye had to pay Ruiz a step-aside fee AND sign options to Sauerland/King. After all, wasn't he saying how he wouldn't earn enough money with the Klits and how they wanted options? Who knows, with Ruiz in the picture Haye might end up earning less with Valuev than he could have earned with Vitali.
Remember when he said THIS: David Haye: "I Am Doing This For Dempsey, Marciano, Louis, Ali, Frazier And All The Other Great, Smaller heavyweights!"
He got a shot anyway and it didn't happen because it was postponed, nothing else. The "line" to a heavyweight title is hardly a competitive nor major one otherwise Wladimir wouldn't have given him the shot.
I really dont understand why some of you guys are blaming this on Haye when its Ruiz that is trying to stop the fight so he can get his shot of redemption at Valuev...So can somebody please enlighten me on how Haye is the one pulling a ***** move when Ruiz has made it public that he wants to fight Valuev?:huh I seriously dont understand some of you guys thinking sometimes!atsch
It's pretty simple really. Some people hate certain people so much that they are unable to form an objective opinion on that person. It's a trait that is prevalent in morons and pricks...many of whom reside on this forum.
I'm wondering: Were Haye and his manager so naive to trust Don King/Sauerland that it won't be ANY PROBLEM to get the WBA to approve this? Adam Booth: "What about Ruiz? What if he sues?" Kalle Sauerland: "Aaaadam, do not worri!!! Ve vill handel itt, trust mi!!! I vill kall Don Kink and the WBA makes what ve vant!!"
Seriously...thats what it seems like...I'm not the biggest Haye fan on here but DAMN!..People that blame Haye for this match are being bias...I've read through this whole thread have yet to hear a valid reason on why Haye should be blame for this whole ordeal.:verysad
No one is outright blaming him, at least i am not. I am saying that he and his team are idiots when it comes to HW matchmaking. if us laymen here at ESB predicted this problem weeks ago, why couldnt he see it? For that he deserves some mention. I do blame him for being a pathetic example of a real warrior and boxer who does it in the ring. Inactivity, out of ring antics, lack of quality regular fights. Seriously even you nuthuggers cant deny the guy not only doesnt live up to his potential in the ring, he is an embaressment making claims along sides the "greats".
First off dude...I'm no Haye nuthugger..to get technical with you...I'm not even a big fan of Haye...I'm just simply pointing out some of the crazy things that has been said about him. Second of all why is you're singling out Haye when both Valuev and Haye signed the contract...Valuev may have known that Ruiz wanted his fight with him so why didnt Valuev acknowledge his mando...Its works both ways man.
I guess you could say that Haye has done this...three times in a row against all the current belt holders in the HW division. You lie and back out of the Wlad fight. The haye nuthuggers make all kinds of excuses. He then negotiates with Vitali and backs out of that fight. Now the valuev problem..are you getting this now? he has been inactive for a year with only 23 pro fights. You and others might be ok with this..I think its pathetic. I am not singling out Haye either, I was just as rough on Antonio Tarver back in the day. Tarver has gone on to make at least a mentionable career. We;'ll see if Haye does, I have my doubts with everything he has said. And tell me you cant deny this claim nuthugger or no
I am sure Valuev was also considering that ticket sales with Haye might be a "tad" better than Ruiz and hence agreed with his management to sign with Haye rather than starting negotiations with Ruiz. I doubt they could sell more than 3,500 tickets for Valuev - Ruiz III in Germany. Maybe they'd move it to the US, I am not sure if it would garner more interest there. Valuev - Haye maybe 8,000-10,000 in Germany, but I am just guessing here. Plus there'd be some PPV income from the UK with Haye to share. None with Ruiz.
