As for the actual fight....how does everyone see it going? I find it very hard to make a case for Haye. Vitali has only ever lost on cuts, never been down either. A few mates have said his best chance is a points win, with the same tactics as Valuev but I cant see that working in Germany against a Klitschko. I'm sure I read something somewhere saying Lennox said Hayes best chance is 'cuts', lol, pretty strange strategy that would be. I met Haye after the Groves fight v Smith, he hung around after signed autographs and spoke to people etc, nice bloke and I hope he does it, but just cannot see how.
Nice retirement bonus of Haye. Vitali will knock him out, but Haye will retire rich/with extra money indeed..............
all this talk about Sky not doing PPV, i'm pretty sure that they'll come back into it for this one. Its too big of a fight for them to not. We're not talking about Khan / McCloskey or Peterson - this is a much bigger fight.
I think Sky will put it on regular Sky Sports. Khan and Froch are on the channel in December. Theyve set the precedent there so you,d assume Haye would follow suit
How is Haye going to make people think he has a chance of winning? Age difference? Fully functional toe? He hasn't a lot to work with but I'm sure he'll dupe plenty of people again.
I think he can get the public on side by being more humble in the build up and apologising for toegate etc. Can't see it happening though but i think that's the best way to get the public back on side. I read some comment on the Mail's website where some twat said he didn't want to see Haye dancing about avoiding punches...this is the standard of casual we are dealing with...
