Major props to David Haye. Even if he is defeated, I hope he does himself proud this time. It's him fighting, it's him who's feeling the punches, not any of us.

Agreed whatever people may have said about Haye in the past with regards to him being a money grabbing xyz the fact that he has decided to take on Vitali surely shows that yes there will be some money in this for him but that he has some sort of pride about his boxing.

He doesnt want to go out like that and he decided to take on the next hardest fight in the division. Fairplay and good luck to him,

Yeah i agree.. Haye has done what pretty much no man in the division would do and gone back to back vs Klits. Guaranteed to go for a WK rematch if he beats VK too. respect to the man.

Wonder how much haye would get for this kind of fight?

Indeed, but that reaction is just because Haye PROMISES the exact opposite.

I had a poll here a while ago about what kind of HW champion the posters here wanted after the Klits retired. The huge majority wanted another Tyson like destruction machine over any other kind of style including the Ali type!

The heavyweight division isn't like any other type of division... The HW champ has to be a cartoon caracter, a guy that sends you flying when he hits you. :deal

Does anyone know how much tickets generally come for to German boxing events? Looking at getting some figures so I can get a yes or no from some people. Cheers for any help. :good

We stayed in Dusseldorf when Haye was meant to fight Wlad. A bit smaller than Hamburg. But still superb.

Looking forward to this if it comes off, largely because I haven't been to Germany before :yep.

I also believe Haye has more of a chance against Vitali than he did Wladimir.

David Haye never really retired. Yes he said he retired, but it was all a ploy to hurry them up with an offer. You can tell by Haye's physique that he's been training.
