I didnt know negotiations were as close as being finalised by sunday and neither did a few others.

That is the point of this article and it has done its job well.

Why shouldnt Haye get a pat on the back for entering into negotiations to fight Wlad? Its the fight everyone wants to see.

    Some people are never satisfied!

Boxing and the UK need so I hope it is signed up by Sunday. It would be great if Floyd and Manny signed. Big heavyweight and big P4P fight is exactly what boxing needs.

Does anyone else suspect the "Sky pushing for Audley" tosh is something team Haye have started in order to make it appear to K2 that there are other options more attractive to British TV?

Haye and Booth are pretty smart

For what reason would Sky be pushing a Haye vs Audley fight over a Haye vs Klit??

He should get a pat on the back when he enters the ring and not before.

The only explanation would be that whoever is in charge of boxing decisions knows eff all about the sport, or indeed its fans

A nice safe, and fairly lucrative option for them, before Haye goes to fight Wlad. I guess they figure Wlad can be made afterwards.

Haye is starting to bring in the casuals, people who wouldn't understand how little merit an Audley fight would have in the boxing world, and how important a Klit fight is.

Whatever way you look at it, Haye/Wlad is a bit of a pick-em. They've just got on the Haye gravy train, they dont want to risk it getting derailed so soon

It's a shame, but these are the sort of cynical things that happen in boxing all the time. I hope Haye sticks to his guns.

If it doesn't get made I can only pray the Adamek fight does.

That's the only fights that interest me.

See this is what happens when people who've never laced them up watch fights and pass off their opinions as fact.

    Clueless truely clueless.
