    nice one

Good luck with your mag btw, it looks really impressive, & I like the idea of it being like a proper magazine turning the pages etc, a great wee touch! Best of luck to you all:good

Oh I'm very strict and particular about the company I keep during a big fight. Can't be watching boxing with uneducated fools making stupid comments. As a general rule I like to watch it in silence and solitude. Iv even been known to go round to mates houses where they are all having the fight on, have something to eat, drink a few beers and then 20 mins before the fight starts..**** off back off to mine and watch it on my own :yep

me and 10 other mates are staying in to watch it on sky hd, we're not risking it like last time we all went down our local yates that show all the big fights but we missed half of the ruiz fight thanks to the pubs skybox cuttin out, there were pints being chucked at every screen, never again

    Ive got two choices.

1 - watch it at my bosses BBQ which will get extremely messy and ill end up drinking till the early hours

2 - watch it at home with a couple of brews and have an early night

sounds simple till I gotta work the sunderland show the next day which will then continue the options

1 - continue to get ****ed up throughout the sunday in order to work through the sunderland show without spewing up or falling asleep

2 - feel great and get my work done like a pro and have a couple of beers to celebrate afterwards

Ive one thats more suited to your needs. Its a regular bar that i found by chance for the Haye Ruiz fight. Was very surprised to see box office in there as it seemed like a 'local' type bar.

I dont know the name but i was at the Courtyard bar on West Nile st. Came out of there and then went right, uphill and it was on the same side of the st after about a mins walk.

    EDIT- Used google maps

    Its Alfredo's bar.:good:good:good

Watching It in one of my local pubs ( one of them has it in 3D on the big screen ) although my vision will already be impaired :yep

Of course I have not got a pass from the wife yet so could well be watching it on SBO HD in the house with my bottles of Bud :?

The last thing you want to do is watch it in a pub where no one else gives a toss about it, ruins the whole atmospehere and tension.. You should prob do a bit of 'market research' on a boozer before you commit to going there..

  12. Paying for it and watching it at home, told our lass to make sure she is busy that night. Told all the lads they are welcome if they fancy it.

Out of interest anyone any idea how much a pub has to pay to show the fight

Depends on the size of the premises & how many tvs they have, can be very expensive.

There was a thread about this a while ago
