despite all of that, the US is still the biggest boxing market.. you do make a good point about manny. but manny is a huge name in the states. im just saying that haye is overhyping this fight and it wont be as big as alot of ppl aremaking it out to be, i dont think its as big as klit areola would be overall, mainly cause HBO loves both areola and wlad.. having said that, i think haye beats areola anyday.. and i would rather see a haye wlad fight

im gonna take a wild guess and say your from the UK? arreola has already started being hyped by HBO, thats all im saying, haye is nothing in the US. and boxing mags/sites are usually only frequented by hardcore fans.. TV is where its at.

but areolla is ****.

i guarantee haye's management see's all the hype on the sites, and mags.. and thats why they consider themselves worth more than they are. if this fight doesnt go thorugh (hopefully it does) it is only because haye management was too far up their own ass to realize what kind of a chance they are being given.

 

If someone had got in my face and called me out in public I wouldn't have waited for a fight to be made, he would have got it there and then.

The measure of Wlad as a man is how he has reacted to Hayes challenge......we have all seen how he has reacted, he has without doubt ducked Haye, the man is a complete bitchassed ducking *****. Wlad, no respect:deal

there is a level of proffesionalism that fighters should bring to the table, this is a sport and a business, and not a streetfight over someone dissing ur babymomma that type of maneuvering only appeals to the lowest form of fight fan.

 

The fact that he wanted to put in the contract that Haye would have to fight either of the two brothers (Wlad OR Vitali) if he wins tells us how Wlad feels about this. WHat kind of ***** act is that?

If there was an immediate rematch clause stating that if Haye wins then he had to give Wlad a rematch then that would be perfectly understandable but involving Vitali?! WTF?

Rafael Marquez doesn't put in his fight contracts that if he looses then his opponent has to fight Juan Manuel (I know that the Marquez brothers fight at different weight classes). That's some playground bull****, "If you beat me up then I'm going to call my big brother who'll beat your arse"

Wlad isn't 100% confident with this fight even though Haye is hyped-up, glass-jawed, blown up cruiserweight.

 

This is bad for all concerned and Bad for boxing!

im not taking anything away from his accomplishments at cruiser.. and im not gonna spew some bull**** about it not transffering to heavy, cause haye was always a big cruiser..

ive only seen haye fight mormeck, macca, and barrett.. and those are the only 3 names i recognize on his resume..

maybe im wrong, cause im not the one at the negotiating table, i only know what ive read.. and for me, Bonte makes the best points. (but i may be a little bias )

they had a contract ready for haye to sign but the deal fell through cause they lost the venue fell through. Booth said he could deliver it. What happened there?

to blame one side is stupid cause we don't know what's really happening. Haye has a deal with the O2 arena and Setanta while wlad has his HBO contract. can't have it the O2 either since it is booked. everything was worked out for the June 20th date at Chelsea. When that one detail fell through, everything fell apart and had to be renegotiated.

for example, haye's money split should go down cause he can't produce the huge venue. he's popularity was supposed to draw in the 40k or so and produce that revenue. so they could arguing about that?

no surprise haye's lunatic fanbase is screaming foul though. looks like he'll have to get a title shot the old fashioned way, earn it :yep

the fight still might take place....arreola, toney, valuev, povetkin are all in play now.
