Wlad is confident. But if he wins and knocks Haye out in 2 rounds than all posters will write:

He knocked out a hyped-up, glass-jawed, blown up cruiser.

So why should Wlad give so much money to Haye?

It did not make sence. Haye should proof, how good he is and i am confident we wll see the fight Haye vs. Wlad after Wlad beaten Povetkin.

Is it also not fair to say that Wlad is letting Haye bypass everybody and is giving him a crack at the title? Some of these demands are bull**** from both sides but dont forget that Haye is no mandatory and is several fights away from being one.He is being handed a oppurtunity.

The claim is that the Haye side is not experienced in negotiations since they don't use a pro and were just winging it. Not saying that is true. Just repeating to answer the question.

That fight no. Letting Wald/Haye steep a bit is good for the division.

Correct. So why are so many people blaming Haye???:-(

What would warrant him earning his shot??He could beat some of Wlads recent opposition and maybe Arreola and people would still say he has beaten nobody and done nothing at HW

Bypassing everybody? Tell me, how many hungry young contenders are there waiting to get a chance at Wlad? It's not as if we've got a packed HW scene. If Wlad were to fight Povetkin, Chagaev or Valuev then I would say that Haye should wait but the thing is Wlad wants to face Povetkin at the END of the year and Chagaev and Valuev are just not interested as they know they would get beat. Who else is there for Wlad to face?

Haye had a terrible time just lining up a fighter for his last fight and that was basically just a stepping stone fight into the heavyweight scene. Haye mouthed off that everyone is afraid of him but then several fighters surfaced saying that they approached Haye's team for the fight. Some of them complained that Haye's management was low balling and difficult to deal with.

Sounds like the same **** again.

This is true, Haye should let Golden Boy/Schaefer negotiate this for him. Adam Booth doesn't know what he's doing.

  9. Where as Arreolas resume is full of names !!

    You missed fragomeni on Haye's

Oh well I KNEW this was going to happen. Haye should fight Arreola. That would be a way to say "screw you" running man.

im not one of them. but we know the venue fell through which erodes haye's financial worth to the fight. everything else is hearsay/rumor imo.

and had haye done like he said and beaten 2 top 10 hws, he'd have more leverage. still, i like this fight but to say wlad is ducking haye is ludacris. haye has to be in wlad's way first; he's no mandatory or another belt holder

Nothing? ... Arreola is the last US prospect, the last line of defense.

When you are negotiating for millions of dollars, it isn't time for amature hour. People love to hate on managers and promoters, but they serve their purpose. Think Arum being a lawyer is an accident? This is really about multi-million dollar contracts. IF nothing else, Wald's side laid out a perfectly believable account of the negotiations. Even if it isn't true, they had the experience to know a good cover. Again, I'm not saying I believe one side or the other. Just rambling on. But, you guessed that by now.
