Haye wants 50/50 with Klits or don't call - Booth

for me, haye doesn't bring as much money, as many fans or the resumes that the klitschkos do to the table. they're both more established, both beat better fighters for their belts, are better known globally...haye does not have any reason to demand 50/50

The brothers are easily the biggest draw, and their ability to sell more tickets than any other heavyweight has been proven, repeatedly.

So I'd say demanding an equal split is not really a fair refelction of who would be the draw in a possible fight.

The brothers have also been established titleholders at heavyweight, whereas Haye has had a two fights at heavyweight, and just won his title.

But as for fighter's takes in general...............why determine the cuts before you even know who wins? I think the incentive to get the bigger percentage would make the fight more interesting.

I think 75/25 with the most going to the winner would be a great way to handle it.

 

The German football stadium sold out quickly because HAYE was the potential opponent and it was not a simple matter of the fact that Klit would be fighting.

 

They should give him the 50 percent, KO his ass, then we can forget we ever heard of him in a few years.

i agree that it wasn't simply cause a Klit was fighting and Haye brought some people/story.

HOWEVER, if you look at haye's ticket sales against barrett vs either wlad's sales against rahman/thompson or vitali's sales against peter you'll find that haye has nowhere near the ticket power

same with tv viewership, people flock to watch klitschko fights country wide. though haye is popular he ain't at their level yet

 

Really what did hayes last fight sell 8000? last klitschko fight 61000.. yeah we all know who the bigger draw was:deal what did Hayes fight against Barrett sell? There were more people in the rachman fight as well... Wlad sells out staduims Haye never has...

 

No doubt Klit has bigger home suppport than Haye and Haye is no Hatton when it comes to motivating the Brits to support his show. I think in terms of general interest Haye is the only opponent out there that can get more people interested in a HW title unification.
