Well, in this hypothetical situation, beat his brother.

Only rematches against Tony Thompson and Sam Peter are acceptable.

David Haye showing the heart of a Champion. Most fighters would want to build themselves back up slowly after losing to Wlad. Not the Hayemaker. He wants to get right back in there with the best two HWs of the generation and prove it was a one off.

If only boxing had a few more fighters like David Haye.

Well we've got Ibragimov and Kevin Johnson. That makes 3 David Haye types in my book.

He was constantly looking for counters.

Wlad didn't make openings so there was nothing to counter, you might as well blame Steward for making this gameplan.

(Wlad = A much more effective John Ruiz minus the exciting trainer.)

Watch the Wald/Haye fight before commenting on it you; David didn't run from him, if you think so you are mildly ******ed.

No he just stood about 2 meters out of range while using insane head movement. Tbh I actually think if you were to watch Haye or Kevin Johnson on the heavy bag that's more or less what you'd see. Two blokes using insane head movement while looking at the bag from two meters away from it. Does anybody have any footage of Haye on the heavy bag to confirm this theory?

It took over 3 years to get the first fight with Wlad. Even if he fights and beats Vitali they will never give him a second chance at Wlad.

If Haye beats Vitali, than he deserves a rematch.

the saddest thing is that he has real talent. if he would go to the states and smoke arreola, adamek and jennings he would be a star and would make great money. and then fight the KBros (that should have been his plan 3 years ago).

In a perfect world, Vitali retires, Wlad fights for his vacated title, wins it, Haye achieves mandatory status in impressive fashion, Wlad-Haye II happens and David Haye finally shuts up.

In the real world, Haye talks, Vitali retires or fights someone else because a 50/50 deal can't be agreed to with Haye, Haye fights for the vacant title or just retires again allowing some other undeserving fighters (Arreola probably being one) to fight for it and then never give Wlad a shot at it, perpetuating a separate special WBC league that isn't really part of the global heavyweight division, much like the Valuev era WBA league before Wlad finally won that title.
