Haye wants Mercer....yea RAY Mercer

This is very disappointing news indeed, why does Haye want to fight somebody who is 47. Now he is begging WBO to get Mercer ranked on the strength of a 6 round Majority decision over Richel Hersisia. I mean come on Mercer lost to Derric Rossy in the fight before that and Hersisia was KO'd in 4 by Fraudley Harrison. How the hell does this a) justify Mercer to be ranked in the Top 10 & b) be fighting David Haye, who has stated he wants to fight the best at Heavyweight. Well I can tell you Mr Haye that Mercer is not one of the best, please stop looking for stiffs, hasbeens & bums for your Nov 15th opponent. You have already been there and done that with Tomasz Bonin, its time to step up and actually meet someone who is a threat. I mean Mercer in his prime would have KO'd Hersisia and Rossy without difficulty, this guy is clearly shot and at 47 has to be by far the oldest guy still fighting at this level.

 

Presumably you have some evidence for both of these claims?

 

This thread should read Mercer interested in Haye - Because all the noise has been coming from Mercer.

Well if he can KO Mercer then he has an even more solid claim at being Greater then Holyfield.
1. He's bigger
2. He KO'd a guy that Holyfield only won a UD against

Haye is a ****ing joke. All his talk about fighting top ten guys. I mean even within the top ten today there is some pretty weak opposition for him to go after but he pulls this ****. Atleast fight a fading Golota or something.

 

The sad truth is: Haye will eventually find a name opponent and KO him in a couple of rounds. After which the general public will forget about all of this nonsense, and Haye will be given the opportunity to get KO'd by Klitschko sometime next year.

3. HAYE HAS EXPLICITLY RULED OUT OPPONENTS LIKE MERCER.

4. I REPEAT, HAYE HAS SHOWN NO INTEREST IN THIS POTENTIAL FIGHT AT ALL.

4. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO STILL DON'T GET IT: HAYE DOES NOT WANT TO FIGHT MERCER. MERCER WANTS TO FIGHT HAYE.

With the total circus Haye has started, I wouldn't be shocked to find out the whole Mercer fight is true.

Im sure Mercer will drop out as well (according to team Haye) and Haye will end up picking yet another bum

To be fare Hayes resume as it stands for only 22 fights is amazing So people can frget all this **** about him being a ducker or cherry picker.

Look at his first 22 fights and compare it to wlads :good
