That was no initiation, that was a retaliation. I've been in enough fights to know that when a thug and his henchmen are coming for you, the only right way of action is to strike first.
Haye had no other choice to defend himself! If he wouldnt have done anything everybody here would say that he was scared etc... Wlad did the right thing to not hit chisora but why the fuk dit he open his mouth and taste that spit water from chisora!? ewww
He is setting an example of standing up for himself and his dignity, as opposed to taking it from a bully on the premise of "Let police handle it". That's what men USED TO DO, before this generation of politically correct bubble boys was raised to be old enough to post on esb. I am as far away from ghetto as you can imagine, I am university educated and come from a family of high class, yet when I was in situations like this, the last thing on my mind was being classy. It's called pride, you either have it or you don't. Kbros had the look that Russian gangsters had in the past when someone wronged them. But something tells me we won't hear of Chisora found in the ditch with 8 bullet holes in the body and one in the forehead, so it would be all smoke and no fire.
Lol I can't believe people are defending David Haye of all ****ing people. He shouldn't have even been there! It's one thing to be doing analysing and after the fight go on about how you've found loads of weaknesses and push Chisora's performance aside especially when he did better than he did against Wlad, but its a****ingnother to go to the press conference and try to bait a ****ing match when it isn't his night! What the **** did he think was going to happen? Should've stayed the **** away.
He also should go to jail for assault with a weapon. Haye and Chisora are losers. They can't beat the Klitschkos, so they pull this crap. Pitiful.. :-(
Teaching his kids to not take **** and to defend themselves when they're in a dangerous situation, nothing wrong with that. Or do you prefer the Klits example of rollling over to accept a good kicking while slurping next mans saliva off your mouth?
I am 32, white, have an academic education and so on and so forth. I see nothing wrong with Hayes reaction. He was crowded by three opponents, who had declared they would humiliate him. He had all right to defend himself. He might face problems because he used that tripod camera, but there was nothing wrong with it from an ethical point of view. Chisora and his two goons could have stayed out of his personal space in the first place.
Surely the proper thing to do in Wladimirs position was to react and compromise his brothers fight, disappoint an entire stadium filled with fans, television stations, his own brothers fight night that he just trained for, for the past X months, etc, etc, etc. Since he didn't it obviously means Wladimir is a huge ***** and is afraid of a very average fighter like Chisora. :-( If anything this incident highlighted, among other things, how sad this forum is, and problems with todays youth, which consider degenerates like these as their roll models. It wasn't the street. It was a high profile professional boxing match in which millions of dollars were on the line, and months of preparation. Only a complete ****ing fool would compromise that because of some cheap provocation from a dumb **** like Chisora. Who now btw will have his license probably suspended in the UK, and is facing a possible ban in Germany. And on top of that is now humiliating himself further having to explain in a statement how much of a dumbass he is. Bad ass right? ****ing humiliating is what it is. He has no shame.
Nothing prevented him from coming up to Chisora after the match and dumping the contents of the spit bucket that his brother used right in that tool's face. And no one in the right mind licks their lips after they got spit on. He didn't even look disgusted.
I agree with you in terms of Wlad. He did exactly what he should have, which is admirable. I'm not a violent person, never get in fights and don't condone violence BUT . . . I have no problem seeing a bully get their comeuppence when their behaviour leads them to mess with the wrong person. When you behave as Chisora has done both in his private life and professional career, especially in the last few days, eventually you're going to push your luck and meet someone who is not prepared to fall victim to your ****. Now, i'm not saying what Haye did was right or wrong, but personally I have no real problem with it. Throughout his entire career he has had numerous face offs, stare downs and slanging matches and never once showed any hint of getting violent outside of the ring. The only incident of this is on Saturday night, when he was confronted by a man with a track record of violent behaviour who had just moments earlier announced that he would assault him. Haye clearly has an ego of his own and was confronted by this bully in front of the World's media and clearly decided that he wasn't going to be another victim of the guy's behaviour. He could have walked away and avoided any trouble and it would have been better for him if he had of done. But he didn't and he'll have to deal with the consequences. Standing up to bullies is just about the only time I can tolerate violence.
I think we are witnessing the divide among K-bro fans. Those of us who are young guys with fighting past, who went through the tough lives in the 90's when CCCP fell apart, we can't understand and can't accept their behavior. Those of us who are older and are located in stable, safe counties like germany, are applauding the patient class act. I guess I am in the first category. And I am guessing that last night cost K-bros more fans than all the loses, injuries and hardships combined, at least among the younger former soviets/eastern euros.
Hitting with a bottle and tripod, running away from Chisora then leaving the country with his manager when Chisora threatened him. Real man.
