Im wondering if anyone has any inside info on who haye could be fighting?

With only 10 days until official word, surely opponent is already named.

    Cheers

Tony Thompson is the most probable opponent after the Boxrec 'leak'.

I guess o2 would be the likely venue as Haye can fill that :good

    Could have been a mistake.

true - an odd mistake though!

It would kind of make sense given Haye's previous heavyweight fights [bar Chisora] have all been against formerly quality 40 year olds.

And the added story of Thompson just having KOd and exposed the UK's 'next Klitschko' inside 2 rounds - make for a good UK vs USA vengance angle.

Haye would win pretty easily though I think.

Have heard that Prices team are trying to enforce the rematch with Thompson, so don't know if that could happen.

Could go for Arreloa for the Vitali link, and he is rated high.

Or one I think would be good is Banks but think he is tied up with Mitchell but with the link to Wladamir would help set up a rematch with him, when he KO's Banks.

True it'd be a good angle and Haye would win it with ease. Thought I'd check Tony's facebook page to see whats going on and people have already asked him if he is fighting Haye, he says he knows nothing about it and when asked why it was put up on boxrec then deleted he said because it's not true, he also sounded reluctant when people asked if he would fight Haye.

Doesn't it make sense for him to fight Jonathan Banks?

    He's inside the Klitschko camp?

I don't think beating Tony Thompson gives him any edge toward a Klitschko fight. Wlad beat him easily the second time so can hardly play the 'I knocked him out in better fashion card' as he did with Chisora!

Can see him fighting povetkin for wba belt, klit will get stripped of it sooner rather than later so they will fight for vacant blet.

I can see it in once sense but, in another, does that WBA (Regular) belt even carry much with it?!

For me, it's more an Interim belt if anything. Wlad beat Haye, who was WBA champ, so he is WBA champ.

But yeah maybe, if he get's stripped, they'll fight for the full WBA title.

Hope Price gets him first to be honest, before any of our other heavyweights.Arreola would be good,or Banks.Dont really like an Adamek fight, but thats just me.One Id like to see is Solis, for the revenge angle, but can't really see it.
PS Meant hope Price gets Thompson first.Has Haye got a definite fight date yet,or is it just speculation?

Is it my memory playing tricks with me but wasn't Haye meant to fight Thompson at the O2 before? I'm sure it was meant to be him instead of Monte Barret but everyone went "who the **** is he???"?

Anyway, would love to see what would be a fun fight against Areola but have a sneeky suspicion that Adamek will get the gig.
