poor logic boyz. vitali fought lewis and lewis said he would rematch, only to retire. haye could have fought vitlai, but got real scared...:rofl
If Vitali retires now he will ridiculed for the rest of his life for not fighting Haye. At least Lewis gave him a shot at the twilight of his career. Incredible.
Difference being Haye has had at least two, maybe three, opps to fight Vitali and ducked out while Lewis promised rematch never materialised. That said, Vitali has to nail the Haye sucker before retiring.
I don't see why Vitali/Lewis scenario can never be compared to Vitali/Haye. Vitali took the fight as did Lewis on short notice ,rocked the champ, never went down against him, and was ahead on the cards at the stoppage. And the vast vast majority of the public was craving a rematch. Haye never did **** vs. Vitali, got beat clear as day vs. Wlad, ran, and jumped to the canvas every chance he could. And nobody besides Haye is asking for a rematch vs. Wlad, or match vs. Vitali besides Haye and idk some in the UK. Probably more in UK asking for a Furry/Price fight. Maybe if Haye fought differently vs. Wlad or Vaulev, his stock wouldn't have taken such a hit, but when you talk big, and produce ****, well.........
No one outside of the UK gives a ****ing **** about David Haye. He's a nobody, some laughingstock cruiserweight who talked his way into a fight with Wladimir and then didn't bother throwing a punch. No one cares if Vitali fights Haye, or if Haye retires, or if Haye dies of AIDS. He's "that loser who blamed his toe" to most people.
Who the **** is David Haye? No one outside of the UK gives a **** about that fraud. VK owes him 2 things: JACK and ****
Haye seems to suddenly realize that Vitali don't really give a f**K about Haye or if they ever fight or not. Vitali is in the drivers seat, and don't really need Haye, nor does VItali seem to want to waste time on Haye's nonsense anymore. Haye seems to realize this, now. Vitali can retire and go down as an alltime great heavyweight who made history, or he can fight again and defend against his mandatory and make one more good payday. All this while Haye is left on the fringes, realizing he threw away a BIG payday, and should have taken the Vitali fight back when it was offered. What, twice before?
No. David Haye said he has one or two fights at most left in his fighting career. If Haye beat Vitali, there would be a second Wlad-Haye fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship.
Even if Vitali KO's Haye in 1 round,he still wont even be top 20 heavyweight! A good fighter yes but All time great? Not even close.
