"I think Haye will walk through Wladimir, smash him to bits and knock him out especially based on his last fight. I know he was quite dominant on the outside against Ruslan Chagaev, but Wladimir's like a chicken. He's scared of his own shadow, runs around the ring, ponces about and is just boring," Froch said. "If you watch him on TV you want to switch him off after four rounds. He's not a fighter who's got any sort of balls at all. Wladimir's got no bottle, whereas Haye's ferocious. Haye comes forward, looks his opponents in the eye and tries to decapitate them with every single punch. I just think he'll catch Wladimir and do a job on him, I really do." Carl 'The Truth'Froch:deal Four rounds is about all Wlad gets on my TV too.....
Oh come on... Wlad does what he does because he has to. He's making the most of his ability admiribly given that if he gets smashed on his whiskers then he's in all sorts of trouble. If every boxer dedicates himself in the way Wlad does to his fitness and application then we wouldn't have so many fat lazy slobs north of 175lbs. Give him some respect.
:goodHe is boring but 'effective' is the word I'd use to describe Wlad. I still think Haye is his worst nightmare though. If Wlad does beat Haye then he is much better than I have been giving him credit for. In my eyes, Vitali is still the best proven HW out there at the moment.
I give him respect for his fitness, and for using his massive height/reach advantage to the best of his ability. Name me one entertaining performance by Wlad so I can check it out. I've only seen his last few and they've bored the socks off me. Sometimes winning just isn't enough I'd rather see him go hell for leather and get clipped.
But he can't stand toe-to-toe and prevail and that's the point. There is more than one way to skin a cat and all that. Or whatever.
No your right he's honest and says he has a chin of glass so why test it. But he could try and close the show though without putting himself in complete danger.... It's almost a jousting match with who has the biggest ramrod wins.
Doubt it. He's egging on his mate and fellow Brit. Which is fair enough. But let's not act like he's talking sense.
Wlad can be boring to watch but **** the haters. He does his job and he does it well fair play to him.
Haye ran! Why won't Haye fight Hide? He has refused to fight Hide for a long time now. Why won't he fight a top ten heavyweight?
By the way, Vlad was so scared that he signed a voluntary fight with Haye, but Haye ducked the fight. Haye was supposed to show proof of injury, but he did not. Why? Vitali wants to fight Haye. If Vitali has zero chance to beat Haye, they why would he fight a voluntary fight against him? It was Haye who ducked out.
