Haye Wlad... 50-50 WAS offered!!!!!

Love how all the blame is being put on Haye, it's laughable.

Some of you lot seem to have a short memory about how the Klits are notorious for putting in place clauses upon clauses.

 

If this fight is PPV I will pay but only because it is Klitschko V Haye. I would never pay for a Haye PPV under any other circumstances and I'm sure I'm not alone in this so why should Haye get all the UK tv money? It makes no sense, it should be 50-50 of combined tv money.

It wasn't really about money. They wouldn't even negotiate. You have latched on to a this red herring really tightly and have come out stinking.

 

they did negotiate. read what finkel said they they said what they wanted and Wlad said no.

 

haye makes more money from UK tv agaisnt John Ruiz than Wlad makes agaisnt any fighter in the world including Haye from german tv.

Whoever brings more money to the table should get the bigger pot.

 

No. Showtime is interested in Wlad. Again, this is all for naught. Haye keeps saying talks are ongoing which is an obvious lie. Boothe stopped returning phone calls. They never SERIOUSLY negotiated for this fight. They didn't want it.

Haye V Klitschko will make a lot of ppv money because it is a fight between the no. 1 heavyweight in the world against another belt holder, not all paying customers will be tuning in to see Haye so I don't think it's unreasonable for Klitschko to ask for 50-50 of combined tv money. In saying that I think Klitschko should accept the offer, knock Haye out in front of all his ppv paying fans and be done with it. This **** is dragging on far too long.

 

Surely that offsets itself when the Klits fight bums like Sosnowski because Haye would struggle to draw £3 million fighting an unknown like that?

 

I guarentee you that Haye gets more viewers in Germany than Wladamir Klitscko gets in the UK, and with that the amount of money Haye gets paid for a fight in Germany compared to what Wlad gets in the UK is probably greater.

Haye can sell half a million ppv's for John Ruiz so clearly there is a market for haye agaisnt anyone.

 

Yeah but against a Klitschko it will be a much bigger fight and therefore generate much more in ppv revenue so why shouldn't Klitschko get a share of that? In a way I can understand Haye wanting as much money as he can possibly get as it will most likely be his last fight, better line those pockets while he can.

If getting more money for the higher quality of opponent was so important to them then they should have got that agreed with their deal with German tv, but what you have to remember is that the Klitschko's were happy to sign a deal where they picked up a guaranteed amount even for fighting complete bums like Sosnowski.

 

Klitsckos should have done a better deal like Haye. If they get a 2million guarentee for fighting sosnowski and johnson, they should get a higher fee for the fights with fighters with high profiles in germany like valuev, povetkin and haye.

 

haye made more for in UK tv money for the Ruiz fight than Klitscko would get from german tv for Klitscko vs Haye.
