What is so funny about saying that Germany is the boxing central of the world? Let me know the next time you can fill a 60.000 people stadium in the UK/USA/Mexico fighting a Sosnowski. :good
I would have to say no. Haye shouldn't accept a 50/50 split of domestic t.v revenue, but Wlad shouldn't allow Haye to get all of his domestic t.v revenue. Each guy should get more than haf of their domestic t.v revenue, just not all of it.
:good Klits beating Haye certainly gonna hear they won against another overhyped product, but Haye beating Klits would become a "king of the wrold".
It is hard for people to get over the nationalistic bull****. Pac/May could possibly sell out a place that large but May won't consider fighting out of Los-Vegas.
Incorrect on both. Haye vs. Barret was NOT on German TV, neither was Haye vs Ruiz (even though that fight was promoted by German Sauerland it was NOT on German TV!). Haye is virtually unknown in Germany. The only fight on German TV was Haye vs. Valuev.
I usually agree with FightingWeight, but his argument on the first 4 pages is weaksauce. There is a huge difference in a country not having PPV and a country having PPV. To split all the money in the pot 50/50 (including PPV and non PPV TV money) down the middle is not fair, it is hugely in favor of David Haye. Haye looks like a coward here, and Wlad did basically everything he had to to make the fight, which Haye pulled out of.
Funny how this went from denying Wlad had offered Haye 50/50 and no options to going to Haye deserves more than 50/50..... :rofl
50/50 accross the board....he never said anything else.....its a bull**** ***** move by the paper as champion....you guys deserve that *****
Well that kinda dims the chances of a fight between Haye and either the Klits anytime in the future. I doubt the Klits would box him for less than 50% of the total revenues and Haye seems to be very happy without fighting them at all. IMO the fights are more unlikely now than ever before. I hope I am wrong.
