Which is a meaningless argument. We've had plenty of fighters in the UK that fought title fights on terrestrial TV in the past but lately it's all PPV. WALDO knows this and he wanted half the money from that because he knows we'll pay to see our fighters, win or lose (I'm not speculating on the result here)

Now, if the UK fans can pay to watch Haye, then why can't the Krauts pay to see WALDO? Maybe he's not the big box office people claim? That's my point, and it's a very poignant one.

You make a good point. If the Klits want 50/50 on the domestic t.v revenues, that means that they feel the British t.v revenue is higher. If that's true then Haye would be the bigger draw in terms of t.v revenue. Why the hell should he split it 50/50 when he's bringing in more than half the money?

So WALDO is prepared to make a huge concession on the purse just to get this guy he desperately wants to fight in the ring, and then starts arguing about TV money?

Doesn't hold water I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong, I blame both of them for this latest fiasco but I'm not about to say that Haye is the ***** in this scenario. WALDO is already mega-rich, if he wants to improve his legacy and make the fight that everyone wants to see he'd just have agreed to the TV rights thing. Haye may or may not be looking for a way out I'll readily admit that, but WALDO is just being greedy.

you are missing the point dumbass

point 1- haye does not even deserve 50% of the purse split...wlad has already given up millions to satisfy the ***** just to get him to sit down at the table...keep in mind haye called this guy out for years and pulled out of a signed fight....now he thinks hes worth more? Wlad sacrificed 50/50 on purse, so its only fair accross the boards to do 50/50 for the ppvs
point 2- its obvious your boy doesnt want to fight, hes doing everything on the on the planet not to
point 3- wlad has given in on every demand...when will it ****ing stop? ring size, gloves, who comes out first...Hayes a *****...how anyone can defend him is beyond me

How much of a consession is it in reality though? The purse bid for Wlad/Povetkin was $8 mill. Haye made about that much himself against Ruiz. Haye might actually be generating more revenue than either Klit. Otherwise, the Klits would have no problem with each guy keeping the domestic t.v revenue. Not only that but unless either Klit faces Haye, they won't get any money from HBO either. These guys can easily make more money fighting Haye than anyone else out there with the exception of eachother. With that being said, any deal that doesn't start at 50/50 with no options is a joke. This whole T.V revenue split should get ironed out eventually.
